Description of the Related Art For example, in a conventional still camera, a certain amount of shutter sound is generated when the shutter is released, so the photographer uses the shutter sound to recognize that a photo has been taken as well as the action of pressing the shutter button. You can have it. However, camera-integrated video tape recorders use an electronic shutter method that extracts the charge of the video signal stored in the CCD at an electrically set timing, so shutter noise is generated like in the still camera. That's not the case.

Turn on. Here, still photography is started by turning on the still photography trigger, and at this time, the status of the still photography operation is displayed by the photography operation status display means in the finder. Next, when the shutter is released, the shutter state display means displays in the viewfinder that the shutter button is in the on state. In addition, instead of the shutter status display means, a sound produced by a sounding means (for example, a pseudo-sound similar to a normal shutter sound) is generated at the same time as the shutter button is turned on, thereby ensuring that the shutter is released. It is possible to detect this.

The pseudo-sound of the shutter is emitted from the speaker section 2.
Select whether to generate it from 4. This selection is made using the shutter sound generation selection button 31. That is, by turning on the shutter sound generation selection button 31, the shutter sound can be generated from the speaker section 24 via the control section 40. Below, the cases where the shutter sound generation selection button 31 is turned ON to generate the shutter sound and the cases where the shutter sound generation selection button 31 is turned OFF are explained below.
We will explain separately the case where the shutter sound is not generated when the shutter sound is set to F. In the former case, the process proceeds to step S2, and in the latter case, the process proceeds to step S6. Note that the selection of whether or not to generate this shutter sound is possible before the shutter is released. Step S2 Turn on the movie shooting trigger 28 to start movie shooting, and press the electronic shutter button 29 during movie shooting.
Start still shooting operation by pressing halfway. This still shooting operation state is the character generator 4
6 is displayed in the finder section 22. Specifically, as shown in FIG. 4a, a still camera is displayed in the upper left corner of the finder section 22. This makes it extremely easy to recognize that the camera-integrated VTR 10 is set to the still shooting operation state. Step S3 If the electronic shutter button 29 is continued to be pressed halfway following the display of the still shooting operation state in step S2, the photometry information etc. from the AE/AF control section 42 is input to the control section 40. A message appears indicating that preparations for still shooting are complete. As shown in the figure in the upper left corner of FIG. 4B, the figure immediately before the user presses the shutter button by placing his/her hand on the still camera figure of FIG. 4A is displayed. Step S4 Under the display state indicating that preparation for still photography is complete in step S3, the electronic shutter button 29 is fully pressed to release the shutter. Here, the shutter speed of the electronic shutter button 29 is automatically set by a selection means (not shown), and can also be set manually (for example, from 1/60 second to 1/10000 second, 12 (You can select the shutter speed in stages). Step S5 At the same time as the electronic shutter button 29 is turned on, a "click" sound is generated from the speaker section 24, and the word "click" is displayed in the finder section 22 for a desired time (see FIG. 4c). That is, the control unit 4
0 drives the speaker section 24 upon receiving an ON signal from the electronic shutter button 29, and generates a pseudo sound such as "click". Further, upon receiving the ON signal, the control unit 40 drives the character generator 46,
The word "kasha" is displayed in the finder section 22.

Therefore, the photographer can detect that still photography has been performed using the confirmation means as described above. It should be noted that the display time of the word "click" displayed on the finder section 22 can be adjusted to a desired time. Step S6 Here, the shutter sound generation selection button 31 of step S1 is turned OFF, and the shutter sound is output from the speaker section 2.
A case in which it is not generated from step 4 will be explained. Step S
2, the still shooting operation status is indicated in the upper left corner of the screen in the viewfinder section 22, as shown in FIG.
Displayed as a still camera shape. Step S7 Following the display of the still shooting operating state in step S6, if the electronic shutter button 29 is pressed halfway, a message indicating that preparation for still shooting is complete is displayed (see FIG.
b). Step S8: Under the display state indicating that preparation for still photography is complete in step S3, the electronic shutter button 29 is fully pressed to release the shutter. Step S9: At the same time as the electronic shutter button 29 is turned on, the word "click" is displayed on the screen in the finder section 22 for a desired time (see FIG. 4c). In this case, the shutter sound generation selection button 31 is OFF, and no pseudo shutter sound is generated from the speaker unit 24. Therefore, no shutter sound is recorded on the videotape. Further, as described in step S1, since it is possible to select whether or not a shutter sound is required, it is possible to take still pictures even in a quiet place such as a museum, for example, without worrying about the people around you.
