Description of the Related Art Conventionally, in a DC/DC converter, a so-called RCD snubber circuit, in which a resistor is used to discharge a capacitor constituting a snubber circuit of a rectifier, has been mainly used. However, with the advancement of switching elements, the switching frequency has become higher, and the charging and discharging energy of the snubber circuit of the rectifier increases proportionally. In the RCD snubber circuit, which consumes this energy as heat,
The resistor used became large, which also led to a decrease in the efficiency of the device. Therefore, lossless switching snubber circuits have come into use in which a switching element is used to discharge the capacitor of the snubber circuit.

When trying to apply a conventional switching snubber circuit to a circuit in which multiple transformer secondary windings and rectifier circuits are connected in series in order to obtain a high output voltage as a C converter, a smoothing capacitor 8 is inserted all at once. Therefore, there is no place to absorb the discharge energy of individual snubber capacitors, so a conventional switching snubber circuit can be replaced with a DC/DC converter that connects multiple transformer secondary windings and rectifier circuits in series to obtain a high voltage output voltage. It was difficult to apply.

It can be pulled out and the energy can be released reliably. Therefore, such a switching snubber circuit can also be applied to a DC/DC converter for obtaining a high output voltage in which a plurality of transformer secondary windings and rectifier circuits are connected in series.

A high frequency voltage is applied from the DC voltage source 1 to the isolation transformer T by the high frequency inverter section 10, and the output thereof is rectified into DC again by the high frequency rectifier 2. At this time, during reverse recovery of the high frequency rectifier 2, the energy accumulated in the leakage inductance of the transformer T appears as a jump voltage across the high frequency rectifier 2.
