具、ストライブ柄等の直線的な絵柄の場合に顕著
であつた。さらに、このようなモアレ、線切れを
防止するための原稿の上記シリンダーへの貼り直
しの繰り返しなどによる作業時間の浪費も多く、
その改善が望まれていた。

設けたことを特徴とするカラースキヤナーを提供

をなし先端部分に原稿照明光源たとえば蛍光灯
(図示せず)が設けられ、その周りに円筒状の照
明カバー4が設けられている。さらに、この照明
カバー4の少なくとも一側には、たとえば第2図
に示す如き原稿貼着位置決め用格子状スケール5
が施されている。このスケール5は透明又は半透
明の基材シートに所望の格子状パターンを描いた
ものを照明カバー4の表面に貼着するか、又は照
明カバー4に直接、格子状パターンを描くように
してもよい。なお、照明装置1は円筒状となつて
おり、その円周方向の半分程度が原稿照明光源に
より照明されるようになつているから、前記格子
状パターンはこの照明される部分の半分程度を覆
う程度とすので好ましい。そのようにすれば格子
状パターンに影響されずに原稿を照明できる部分
も存在するので好都合である。この格子状パター
ンは第2図に示すように縦・横の双方の線が、又
はいずれか一方が細線5aと、この細線5aの数
本毎に太線5bを配したものとし、位置決めの容
易化を図るようにしてもよい。各細線5a相互間
および太線5b相互間の間隔は適宜選択し得るも
のであり、たとえば細線5a相互間の間隔は1mm
とし、太線5bは細線5aの9本毎に挿入する。
この格子状パターンは一方向の線(すなわち縦線
又は横線)がシリンダー2の周辺(または稜線)
と平行になるようにして設定することが好まし
い。
