Abstract

PURPOSE:To allow the detection of the residual volume of the liquid in a liquid tank and to eliminate problems, such as missing of replenishment of the liquid and idle operation of a pump without the liquid to supplying the liquid to a washing tank, by providing a fulcrum to allow balanced oscillation on the tank and operating a sensor by a pressure change of an actuator by a weight fluctuation in the tank. CONSTITUTION:The balancing state of a supporting base 89 around the fulcrum 9 as a center collapses and a free end 10 side falls by the weight of the liquid remaining in a liquid pool 6 provided on the base 5 of the liquid tank 7 when the liquid in the liquid tank 7 decreases remarkably. The bottom surface of the supporting base 9, therefore, comes into contact with the contact of a detecting sensor 13 and the detecting sensor 13 operates to turn on and to detect the decrease in the residual volume of the liquid. An alarm device is operated in accordance with the result of this detection to announce that the liquid in the liquid tank 7 runs out. The driving of the pump 11 is simultaneously stopped.

[Operation] With the above configuration, the remaining amount detection sensor is operated by utilizing the weight fluctuation of the liquid contained in the tank as it decreases, so it is possible to accurately detect the remaining amount of the liquid. It can be done. In addition, when the balance of the tank is disrupted due to weight fluctuations due to the loss of liquid, the remaining amount detection sensor is operated by the rocking of the tank, and the weight of the liquid is converted into pressure by an actuator linked to the tank. By activating the remaining amount detection sensor, the remaining amount of liquid contained in the tank can be easily and reliably detected.

Furthermore, the device shown in FIG. 2 converts the weight of the liquid in the tank 7 into pressure and uses this pressure to detect the remaining amount of the sensor 13a.
This is a second embodiment in which the system is operated. That is, a liquid tank 7 having a flat bottom surface 5a is provided with a support stand 8a to support it, and an air actuator 18 with a piston 17 fixed at the center of gravity position when the liquid on the support stand 8a acts by gravity. The compression chamber 19 of the actuator 18 is communicated with a remaining amount detection sensor 13a consisting of a pressure-sensitive switch through a tube 20, and the compression chamber 19 of the actuator 18 is
When filled with liquid, the pressure (gas) in the compression chamber 19 passes through the tube 20 due to the piston 17 descending due to the gravity of the liquid, and presses the detection sensor 13a to turn it off.

Further, when the liquid in the tank 7 decreases and its gravitational action decreases, the piston 17 is lifted upward by the biasing force of the restoring spring 21, and the compression chamber 19 becomes depressurized, so that the detection The sensor 13a is turned ON. The detection results of the detection sensors 13 and 13a in the first and second embodiments are used to operate a notification device 22, such as a lamp or a buzzer, through the electric circuit shown in FIG. In FIG. 4, 23 is an AC power source, 24 and 25 are relays, and 26 is a timer device for controlling the drive time of the pump 11.

Next, the operation of the embodiment constructed as described above will be explained. First, in the first embodiment, by operating the balance adjusting device 16 in advance to adjust the balanced state of the tank 7, when the liquid tank 7 is filled with liquid, the support base is moved around the fulcrum 9. Both free ends 10, 10a of 8
The balance is maintained, and the back surface of the support base 8 on the free end 10 side is separated from the contact point of the detection sensor 13, turning off the sensor 13, so the notification device 22 is not activated. Then, the liquid flows through the pump 11 into a washing tub (not shown).
When the liquid in the tank 7 decreases significantly by being supplied to the tank 7, the weight of the liquid remaining in the liquid reservoir 6 provided on the bottom 5 of the tank 7 balances the support base 8 around the fulcrum 9. When the condition collapses and the free end 10 side descends downward, the lower surface of the support base 8 comes into contact with the contact point of the detection sensor 13,
The sensor 13 is turned on to detect a decrease in the remaining amount of liquid, and based on this detection result, the notification device 22 is activated via the electric circuit shown in FIG. 4 to indicate that there is a lack of liquid in the tank 7. At the same time, the drive of the pump 11 is stopped to prevent the pump 11 from running idle.

In the second embodiment, when the liquid tank 7 is filled with liquid, the piston 17 descends against the biasing force of the restoring spring 21 due to the gravitational action of the liquid, and the compression chamber 19 By making the pressure inside high and pressing the detection sensor 13a with this pressure, the detection sensor 13a is turned off and the notification device 22 is not activated. Further, when the liquid in the tank 7 decreases significantly, the gravitational force of the liquid decreases, and the biasing force of the restoring spring 21 becomes dominant, and this biasing force moves the piston 17 upward, causing the compression chamber 19 By setting the internal pressure to the bottom pressure, the pressure contact state of the detection sensor 13a communicating with the compression chamber 19 is released, and the sensor 13a is turned on.
It activates the notification device 22 to notify the user of a decrease in the remaining amount of liquid, and also stops the drive of the pump 11 to prevent the pump 11 from running idle.

As explained above, in the present invention, the remaining amount of the liquid is detected by using the weight fluctuation due to the reduction in the amount of liquid contained in the liquid tank. This has the effect of being able to reliably and accurately know the supply of liquid, preventing the supply of liquid from being lost, and thus eliminating the problem of dry running of the pump that supplies this liquid.
