Abstract

PURPOSE:To approximately detect the fouling degree of a filter and eliminate a room pressure detecting tube for improving the appearance of the inside of a room by a method wherein instead of the differential pressure between the inside of the ventilating fan and the inside of the room, the differential pressure between the inside of a ventilating fan and the inside of a ceiling is detected by a differential pressure sensor. CONSTITUTION:A differential pressure sensor main body 7 has two pressure detecting ports 9a and 9b. The pressure detecting port 9a detects the pressure of the inside 10 of a ventilating fan and the pressure detecting port 9b is connected to the inside of a ceiling 11 by a connecting tube 13 to detect the pressure inside the ceiling 11. The differential pressure between the pressure detecting ports 9a and 9b is converted into an electric signal. When the ventilating fan 6 is operated for a long time, dust attaches on a filter 8 and the differential pressure across the filter 8 increases, resulting in an increase in the differential pressure between the inside 10 of the ventilating fan and the inside 14 of the room. The differential pressure is used as a judgment indicator of the clogging degree of the filter 8, i.e., the fouling degree.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, in this type of ventilation fan with a filter, as shown in FIG.
The pressure difference between this and the tip detection port 106 of the indoor pressure detection tube 105 drawn out to the ceiling of the room is detected, and clogging of the filter 107 is determined based on a change in this pressure difference.

The present invention solves the above-mentioned problems, and it has been found through surveys of various buildings that there is not much difference between indoor pressure and attic pressure, and by detecting attic pressure as a substitute for indoor pressure, indoor pressure can be detected. The purpose of this invention is to provide a ventilation fan with a filter that can eliminate the need for a filter tube and improve the aesthetic appearance of the ventilation fan installed.

Means for Solving the Problems In order to achieve the above object, the ventilation fan with filter of the present invention has a built-in electric motor, a fan, and a differential pressure sensor body, and has an opening on the bottom and a ceiling mounting part. The differential pressure sensor detects the pressure difference between the inside of the ventilation fan body and the attic outside the ventilation fan body through a through hole between the inside of the ventilation fan body and the ceiling provided in the ventilation fan body. The configuration includes a differential pressure display member that detects and displays that the pressure difference has reached a certain set value.

Function: The filter-equipped ventilation fan of the present invention has the above-described configuration.
By detecting the pressure difference between the attic pressure, which is close to indoor pressure, and the pressure inside the ventilation fan itself, filter clogging can be detected, making it possible to eliminate the indoor pressure detection tube.

As shown in the figure, the ventilation fan main body 1 has an opening 2 and a ceiling 3 attachment part 4 formed on the lower surface, and has an electric motor 5, a fan 6, and a differential pressure sensor main body 7 built therein. Further, the filter 8 is kept under pressure by the ceiling 3 and the ventilation fan body 1 by a method not shown. The differential pressure sensor body 7 has two pressure detection ports 9a and 9b, one of which is the pressure detection port 9a.
is the pressure inside the ventilation fan 10, and the other pressure detection port 9b
is connected by a connecting tube 13 to a through hole 12 provided in the ventilation fan body that connects to the attic 11, detects the pressure in the attic 11, and converts the pressure difference between the pressure detection ports 9a and 9b into an electrical signal. When the ventilation fan is operated for a long period of time, dust and the like adhere to the filter 8, the pressure loss in the filter 8 increases, and the pressure difference between the inside 10 of the ventilation fan and the room 14 increases.

Therefore, changes in this pressure difference can be used as an index for determining how clogged the filter 8 is, that is, how dirty the filter 8 is.
Since the pressure difference between 1 and 1 is small, pressure detection ports 9a and 9b
clogging of the filter 8 is approximately detected based on the pressure difference of as a guideline for cleaning or replacing. Note that the differential pressure display member 15 may be built into the ventilation fan body 1 so as not to be hidden by the filter 8 or a decorative grille (not shown).
