部に挿脱自在に保持された用紙カセツトと、前記
給紙部に回動自在に軸支され前記用紙カセツトの
挿脱操作に伴つて前記用紙カセツトの一部に当接
しつつ回動するレバー部材と、該レバー部材の端
部に設けられ前記用紙カセツトが定位置に装着さ
れた際前記レバー部材の回動に応じて前記用紙カ
セツト内の用紙堆積部にほぼ対面する反射型フオ
トセンサとを有し、前記用紙カセツトの定位置へ
の装着と用紙の有無のいずれをも検知できるよう
