及びファン19が設けられている。この場合温度検知素
子26は図示の位置以外に冷却カイト板17の表面を検
知する位置に設けてもよく、またペルチェ25に代えて
冷却カイト板】7にヒートパイプを埋め込んだり、直接
送風ファンによる冷風によって冷却し、送風ファンを温
度検知素子26によってオン、オフ制御をするようにし
てもよい。なお第1図において、21.22は排紙ロー
ラ、23は排紙トレーを示す。

下させ、このようにして冷却ガイド板17を設定温度に
保つことにより、記録シート6を最適温度にして排紙ト
レー23に排紙することとなる。なお必要に応じてファ
ン19、放熱フィン28及び放熱面27を利用すること
となる。

、簡単な構成で冷却効果を高めることができて、その結
果記録シートの冷却のために、広いスペースを設ける必
要がなくて、省スペースを可能にするという効果がある
。また冷却ローラまたは冷却ベルトによって記録シート
を搬送しながら冷却することによって、冷却ガイド板の
場合と全く同様な効果を奏する。

の温度を検知する温度検知手段と、この温度検知手段に
よって検知した温度が設定温度以上となったとき、前記
冷却ローラを冷却する冷却手段とを設けたことを特徴と
する記録シート冷却装置。 3、熱定着装置を有する画像記録機の記録シート冷却装
置において、前記熱定着装置から排出された記録シート
を搬送しながら冷却する冷却ベルトと、この冷却ベルト
の温度を検知する温度検知手段と、この温度検知手段に
よって検知した温度が設定温度以上となったとき、前記
冷却ベルトを冷却する冷却手段とを設けたことを特徴と
する記録シート冷却装置。
