[Prior Art] Light emitting diodes are used as light sources in various fields, and examples of them are shown in Figs. 6 and 7.
There is a bulb-shaped version as shown in the figure. That is,
Mount the required number of LEDs B in series connection (or series-parallel connection) on one side of the printed circuit board A, and fix it to a glass stem D with a series resistor C attached to the other side to form an LED mount.
The structure is such that this is inserted into a reflective out valve E to perform exhaust and sealing, and a cap F is attached. Note that inert gas is filled during exhaust.

However, in this structure, a series resistor C is connected in order to stably light LED B, and it is housed inside bulb E and completely isolated from the outside, so there is no heat generated inside bulb E. As the heating element has a large number of heating elements, the internal temperature rise becomes large.
LED current and brightness change. Also, the internal temperature of the lamp is affected by the ambient temperature, and the LED
Directly affects the brightness, current, and lifespan of the Furthermore, if the ambient temperature exceeds 80℃, the internal temperature of the lamp will decrease.
When the temperature exceeds 100℃, it becomes impossible to light up.

[Summary of the invention] This invention involves attaching the required number of light emitting diodes to one side of a printed circuit board, attaching a series resistor to the other side, and fixing it to a glass stem to create an LED mount, which is then inserted into a bulb. In a light bulb-shaped LED lamp that is evacuated and sealed, and a light bulb base is attached to the end of the bulb, an auxiliary conductor is planted in the stem, and an auxiliary conductor is installed between the stem and one of the pair of internal conductors to prevent the temperature from opening above a certain temperature. The present invention is characterized in that a bimetal is provided as a switch for releasing the switch, and a reverse pulse prevention diode is attached to the printed circuit board in parallel with the series circuit of light emitting diodes.

[Example] Figures 1 to 4 show an example of the present invention, in which a required number of LEDs 1 are arranged on one surface of a printed circuit board 11.
2 are connected in series (or series-parallel connection), and on the opposite side, a series resistor 13 and a reverse pulse prevention diode 14 are attached and fixed to a glass stem 15 to form an LED mount. In this case, the stem 15 has a pair of internal conductors 15A, 1
In addition to 5B, an auxiliary conductor 15C is installed, and a bimetal 16 as a switch is provided between this and one internal conductor 15B. One end of this bimetal 16 is spot welded to the internal conductor 15B so that it separates at a temperature above a certain temperature, and the other end comes into contact with or separates from the auxiliary conductor 15C depending on the temperature. Then, this mount is inserted into the reflective out bulb 17 to perform exhaust and sealing, and a light bulb base 18 is attached to the end of the bulb 17. During this evacuation, an inert gas is sealed in the valve 17.

The LED lamp having the above structure has a circuit connection as shown in FIG. 4. That is, a reverse pulse prevention diode 14 is connected in parallel to the series circuit of the LED 12, and one end of the diode 14 is connected to a switch (+) made of a bimetal 16 or the like (opens at a certain temperature or higher, and is normally closed). One end and the other end are connected to the (-) end via a series resistor 13, respectively.

Therefore, when the LED lamp is turned on, the bimetal 16 is in contact with the auxiliary conductor 15C below a certain temperature, and the lighting state is maintained. When the internal temperature rises above a certain value due to continued lighting for a long period of time, the bimetal 16 curves and separates from the auxiliary conductor 15C. That is, the switch is in an open state, and voltage application to the LED 12 is blocked, thereby preventing deterioration due to driving at high temperatures.

In addition, in the above example, when the temperature exceeds a certain level,
Although the LED circuit is completely turned off, an auxiliary resistor 19 such as a bimetal 16 may be provided in parallel with the switch, as shown in FIG. 5, to limit the current of the LED 12 when the switch is open.

[Effects] As described above, according to the present invention, an auxiliary conductor is implanted in the stem, and a bimetal as a switch is provided between it and other internal conductors to open the circuit (or insert an auxiliary resistor) at a certain temperature or higher. I did it like this,
If the internal temperature rises, the circuit will be cut off (or current limited) to prevent LED deterioration. In addition, a reverse pulse prevention diode is installed in parallel with the LED circuit, making it possible to protect the LED from abnormal reverse voltage (pulses, etc.) that enters the LED circuit.
