[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Technical Field of the Invention] The present invention relates to a holding circuit for a telephone, and particularly in a so-called parent-child telephone in which a plurality of telephones are connected in parallel to a pair of central office lines, a telephone that is on hold is placed on hold. The present invention relates to a holding circuit that has a function of automatically canceling the hold.

In general, so-called parent-child telephones have been proposed in which only one pair of office lines, that is, a single telephone line, is shared, and multiple telephones are connected in parallel to this pair of office lines so that they can be installed at separate locations. ing.

For example, in a certain house, if telephones are installed on the first and second floors and connected to a pair of office lines,
When answering an incoming call with the telephone installed on the first floor and re-answering with the telephone installed on the second floor, the telephone on the first floor should be disconnected from the handset, that is, kept in an off-hook state, and the telephone on the second floor should be kept in an off-hook state. Raise the handset,
That is, by going off-hook, it becomes possible to talk.

However, with this configuration, after ending a call on the telephone on the second floor, you must either lower the handset of the telephone on the first floor, that is, turn it on-hook, or raise the handset of the telephone on the second floor, that is, turn it off-hook. Unless the telephone on the second floor is turned on and the telephone on the second floor is used to make a call, the telephone on the first floor will not receive a call from an outside line after the call ends, which is a problem in terms of ease of use.

On the other hand, in order to solve this problem, a telephone device having multiple peripheral functions has been proposed as a button telephone device. This telephone device can be connected to one or more central office lines, and is equipped with a plurality of button telephones with a large number of push buttons arranged on the operation surface, and a main device that controls these telephones, and is capable of making calls to ordinary outside lines. In addition to these functions, it also performs functions such as holding a call during a call and a so-called extension call function between multiple telephones connected via the main device. However, while this configuration can satisfactorily solve the above-mentioned problems with parent-child telephones, it requires a large number of complicated and expensive circuit parts, making the telephone device extremely expensive.

Therefore, an object of the present invention is to place a plurality of telephones connected to a pair of central office lines, that is, one telephone between a parent and child telephone, on hold after answering an incoming call, and then turn the receiver on-hook. Another object of the present invention is to provide a circuit that automatically releases the hold state of the first telephone when the handset is taken off-hook to make a call on another telephone.

Another object of the present invention is to attach a relatively inexpensive holding circuit with an automatic release function to at least one of the parent and child telephones, so that the handset of the parent telephone that initially answers an incoming call and is put on hold can be immediately turned on-hook; To prevent a slave phone from being placed in an off-hook state after a call ends.

Still another object of the present invention is to be able to solve the problems that have occurred in well-known parent-child telephones by simply adding a relatively inexpensive holding circuit with an automatic release function, improve usability, and reduce costs. It is possible to realize the above-mentioned purpose and increase versatility.

There is an incoming call on telephone TEL 1 , and when you raise the handset (not shown in the drawing) of the telephone, that is, take it off-hook,
The switch HS is closed, ie, turned on. When answering an incoming call and putting it on hold, when the hold switch H is closed, that is, turned on, the direct current power of the central office line is applied to the capacitor C2 via the polarity matching circuit 3, the hook switch HS, and the hold switch H.
When the differential waveform current generated by C 2 and resistor R 6 is triggered into the gate of the SCR via resistor R 4 , the SCR is turned on and the DC current of the station line is transferred to the station line terminal L 1 and the polarity matching circuit. 3. Resistor R 1 , SCR, Resistor R 2 ,
Flows through the polarity matching circuit 3 and the station line terminal L2 circuit.
Therefore, the DC current is also transmitted between the emitter and base of the transistor TR through the station line terminal L1 , the polarity matching circuit 3,
A current flows through the circuit consisting of transistors TR, SCR, resistor R 2 , polarity matching circuit 3, and central line terminal L 2 , and the transistor TR turns on, leading to central line terminal L 1 , polarity matching circuit 3, transistor TR, and resistor R 3 , a light emitting diode LED, a polarity matching circuit 3, and a loop of the station line terminal L2 . Therefore, even if the handset (not shown in the drawings) of the telephone TEL 1 is turned on, the central office line remains captured by the loop circuit. However, the telephone
By on-hooking the handset of TEL 1 , the line resistance (not shown in the drawing) of the parallel-connected telephone TEL 1 is disconnected, and the voltage between the office line terminals L 1 and L 2 increases. Therefore, the charging voltage of capacitor C1 also increases. Next, by off-hooking the receiver of telephone TEL 2 (not shown in the drawing),
The communication path resistance (not shown in the drawing) and the office line capture circuit 4 of the automatic release holding circuit 2 are connected in parallel, and the potential between the office line terminals L 1 and L 2 drops.

However, the charging potential of the capacitor C1 connected to the cathode side of the SCR becomes higher than the anode side potential of the SCR, the current flowing through the SCR becomes less than the holding current of the SCR, and the SCR turns off. Therefore, the transistor TR is also turned off, making it impossible for the station line acquisition circuit 4 to acquire the station line. In other words, the pending state is released. Similarly, it is easy to understand that when a plurality of telephones are provided, even if the handset of telephone TEL o is raised, the hold state of telephone TEL 1 can be automatically released. Further, it is clear that the holding circuit with an automatic release function of the telephone may be internally installed in TEL 2 to TEL o . In addition, to check whether the status is on hold or not, by inserting a light emitting diode LED in series with the station line capture circuit 4, the transistor TR
When is on, current flows through the light emitting diode LED to indicate a pending state. In the present invention, by providing the station line acquisition circuit 4, the resistance value of the resistor R1 can be increased, and an SCR with a small current capacity can be used, thereby making it possible to reduce the cost and size.

As explained above, according to the present invention, in a so-called parent-child telephone in which a plurality of telephones are connected in parallel to a pair of office lines, at least one telephone is provided with a hold circuit with an automatic release function, and a call is received by the telephone. After answering, the phone is put on hold, then when the handset is put down and the phone is answered again using the same phone or another phone, the phone on hold can be automatically released from the hold status, so the incoming call can be answered first like in the past. There is no need to check the status of the telephone that answered the phone again (after the end of the call, or after taking off-hook from sending and receiving) before taking it down, and there is no need to forget to take down the handset. The practical effects are extremely large.
