Claims (1)
- 軸方向に相対運動する外周側部材と内周側部材
の対向周面のうちの一方の周面に形成された環状
溝３内に、他方の周面と対接する摺動面５を形成
したシールリング４と、該シールリング４の背面
７側にあつて該シールリング４を上記他方の周面
側へ押し付ける弾性体リング８とを設けた密封装
置において、上記環状溝３の反圧力空間Ｂ側の内
側面３ｂであつてシールリング４から離れた位置
に環状凹部９を設け、シールリング８と弾性体リ
ング８との間に、一端１０ａが上記環状凹部９に
支持される一方、他端１０ｂがシールリング４の
背面７における摺動面５の圧力空間Ａ側の端部５
ａと対応する位置に圧接するテーパリング１０を
介装してなることを特徴とする密封装置。
