(Prior art) In general, expansion joints installed in building frames with gaps are
As shown in Publication No. 49-31936, a supporting member is fixed to each building frame, a plurality of spring members are attached to the supporting member along the gap, and a cover material is fixed only to the spring member. Alternatively, as shown in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 57-80509, a spring receiving member is arranged between each building frame, and a cover is inserted between the spring receiving member and the cover material via a spring. There are known methods for attaching materials. All of these have a structure in which the cover material is attached via springs, so when the opposing building frames move in relatively different directions due to uneven settlement, vibration, etc., the spring member and spring receiver A spring member such as a member is bent to prevent the cover material from deforming, and the cover material can respond to the displacement. However, there is a limit to the deformation of a spring member, and if it bends beyond this spring stress limit, one spring member alone will not be able to withstand the deformation pressure and will not return to its original shape. Sometimes I put it away.
For this reason, after the structural change is completed, the pressure of the cover material against the building frame is lost, and a gap is created between the two, which may cause the cover function to be impaired or the cover material to fall off. To solve this problem, it is possible to increase the elasticity of the spring, but this has the disadvantage that the adhesion strength of the cover material to the building frame is reduced.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to solve the above problems, the expansion joint according to the present invention fixes supporting members to building frames provided at intervals, and fixes them to each of these building frames. Both sides of a plurality of spring members arranged at intervals within the gap are attached to the supporting member, and the gap is attached to the supporting member via the spring member or a holder for attaching a cover material attached to the spring member. In the expansion joint to which a cover material covering the is fixed, a fixing member is passed through the center part of the spring member, and an elastic member is interposed between the tip of the fixing member and the back surface of the center part. In addition, the end portion of the fixing member is locked to a locking portion formed on the back side of the central portion of the cover material or the holder for attaching the cover material.

(Operations and Effects of the Invention) As described above, according to the expansion joint of the present invention, the elasticity of the spring member and the elasticity of the elastic member act between the cover material and the support member. Even if the building frames move apart or approach each other due to relative movement of the opposing building frames, and the gap between the building frames becomes wider or narrower, the elastic member will not respond to the displacement in this way. Since a part of the cover material can be absorbed, the response force of the spring member is expanded and improved, and therefore the cover material is not deformed, and its end portions can always be kept in a good state of tight contact with both building frames. Moreover,
The fixing member is passed through the center part of the spring member in advance, and the elastic member is attached thereto, and the end thereof is locked to a locking part formed on the back side of the center part of the cover material or the holder for attaching the cover material. The installation work is very easy because it can be attached by letting the parts slide.

In the above configuration, the cover material 4 and the support member 2,
2, the elasticity of the spring member 3 and the elasticity of the elastic member 15 act, so even if the displacement of the opposing building frames 1, 1 is large, the elastic member 15 will absorb a portion of the displacement. Since the spring member 3 can absorb this amount, the coping force of the spring member 3 is expanded and improved, so that the cover material 4 is not deformed and can always be tightly and tightly bonded to both building frames 1, 1. That is, when the gap S between the building frames 1 and 1 widens due to the movement of the building frames 1, the spring member 3 is pulled on both sides and deformed, as shown by the dotted line in FIG. 3a stands out. However, at this time, the elastic member 15 expands due to the reaction force and prevents the fixing member 8 from lifting up, so the cover material 4 is held in the same position and a gap is prevented from forming between it and the building frame 1. . On the other hand, when the gap S between the building frames 1 is narrowed due to movement of the building frames 1, 1, the spring member 3 is pushed into the center and deformed, as shown by the dashed line in the figure, and the convex curved portion 3a is Gap S between skeletons
sink inside. However, at this time, the elastic member 15 shrinks and the fixing member 8 is prevented from sinking, so that excessive force is prevented from being applied to the cover material 4. Note that the spring force of the spring member 3 is normally as follows:
The elasticity may be set to be equal to or greater than the elasticity of the elastic member.

Furthermore, since the locking flange 10 is integrally formed with the cover material 4 or another locking flange is integrally formed by welding or the like, when the fixing member 8 is screwed to the cover material 4, In comparison, it is better protected from rain, and since the screws are not exposed on the front side of the cover material 4, the appearance is also good.

Furthermore, when constructing the cover material 4, the fixing member 8 is passed through the through hole 13 formed in the convex curved portion 3a at the center of the spring member 3, and the stop member 14 is fixed to the tip thereof by screwing or the like. Further, an elastic member 15 is interposed between the stopper member 14 and the back surface of the convex curved portion 3a, and then the fixing member 8 is placed on the locking edge of the cover material 4 at a predetermined interval, When the locking part 11 at the end of each fixed member 8 is pushed into the locking part 10a of the cover material 4 and locked, and the cover material 4 with the spring member attached is pushed down so as to cover the support members 2, 2. , the outer surfaces of the concave curved portions 3b, 3b of the spring member 3 slide along the respective locking edges 5, 5 of the support members 2, 2, and the locking portions 12, formed at both ends of the spring member 3, 12 is locked to the locking edges 5, 5 of the support members 2, 2, and the attachment is completed. In this way, the spring member 3 and the cover material 4 can be attached by engagement, and there is no need for screwing, welding, etc., so the construction work becomes very easy.

Further, the manner in which the cover material 4 and the fixing member 8 are engaged is not limited to the above-mentioned example. For example, as shown in FIG. 3, locking protrusions 10 are formed facing each other on the back side of the cover material 4, and locking protrusions 10b, 10b are formed in a groove shape at the tips of the locking protrusions 10 facing each other. However, the end locking part 11a of the fixing member 8 may be locked or fitted into the locking part 10a thus formed, or the locking part 11a of the fixing member 8 may be fixed by penetrating the cover material 4. A configuration may also be adopted in which an elastic member is attached to the distal end locking portion. Furthermore, the stopper member may be configured to be fixed to the distal end portion of the fixing member 8 by being fitted thereinto.
