【実用新案登録請求の範囲】[Scope of utility model registration request] 【請求項1】 可撓性本管の外周面に布テープ、鋼製補
強テープ、波付鋼管、防食層が順次設けられて構成され
た一方の管の端部の内周面に所定長さの補強用薄手スリ
ーブを嵌合するとともに、前記防食層、波付鋼管、補強
テープ、布テープを管端から前記スリーブより長くなら
ない長さにわたり除去して可撓性本管の外周面を露出さ
せ、この露出した可撓性本管の外周面に両端に外向きの
環状フランジを有する第1継管と、少なくとも一端に外
向きの環状フランジを有する第2継管とを、第1継管の
一端側フランジが管端に位置し、かつ第2継管のフラン
ジが第1継管の他端側フランジに当接するように隣接嵌
合し、この当接する第1継管の他端側フランジと第2継
管のフランジを両フランジ間にシール部材を介装して第
1締結部材によって緊締固定し、第1継管の一端側フラ
ンジを他方の管の端部に設けたフランジに突合せ、この
両フランジ間にシール部材を介装して第2締結部材によ
って緊締固定した管継手において、前記露出した可撓性
本管の隣接部の防食層、波付鋼管が前記スリーブより長
くならない長さにわたり除去されているとともに、さら
にこれの隣接部の防食層が前記スリーブより長くならな
い長さにわたり除去されており、また第2継管の他端側
が前記防食層、波付鋼管の除去により露出した補強テー
プの端部を覆うようになっているとともに、他端に外向
きの環状フランジが設けられており、第2継管の内周面
に環状凹溝を設け、この環状凹溝に円周方向少なくとも
1つ割りで径が拡縮可能となって内周面に係止突起が多
数設けられたロックリングを嵌合するとともに、環状凹
溝に第2継管の外周から螺合されて達するロックリング
押圧用のセットボルトを第2継管の円周方向に所定間隔
で複数個設け、前記防食層の除去により露出した波形鋼
管の外周面に外向きのフランジを有する第3継管を螺合
により嵌合し、この第3継管のフランジと第2継管の他
端側のフランジを第3締結部材によって緊締固定したこ
とを特徴とする管継手。
