上のカラートナー像の濃度を検出するトナー像濃
度検出手段と、トナー像濃度検出手段による検出
結果に基づいてカラートナー像の濃度を制御する
トナー像濃度制御手段とを有するカラー画像形成
装置において、前記トナー像担持体の少なくとも
トナー像濃度検出手段に対向する部分が透明体に
よつて構成され、且つ前記トナー像濃度検出手段
とトナー像担持体を挾んで対向する位置に、カラ
ートナー像と補色関係にある色の補色部材が配置
されていることを特徴とするカラー画像形成装置
