[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Industrial Application Field] The present invention is useful for purifying and deodorizing the air in living rooms of houses, preventing harmful gases from entering outside air into living rooms, etc., and maintaining the freshness of fresh foods. This article relates to an activated carbon sheet that can be used for general purposes and a method for manufacturing the same. [Prior Art] Conventionally, as an example of an application in which activated carbon is bonded to paper as an adsorbent in the gas phase, it is known that activated carbon particles are dispersed in paper and then made into paper. [Problem to be solved by the invention] With the current papermaking technology, it is not possible to increase the basis weight, that is, the ratio of the weight of activated carbon to the weight per square meter, of a sheet made by dispersing activated carbon fine particles in paper. Due to the difficulty, the amount of activated carbon that can be put into it is extremely small, and the adsorption capacity of activated carbon is proportional to the amount used as long as the quality is the same. had the problem that it could only be used for very limited purposes, such as charcoal filters for cigarettes, masks, etc. The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned problems of the prior art, and in addition to the above-mentioned uses, the present invention is intended to purify the air in living rooms of houses, etc. Used as bedding paper, wallpaper, and shoji paper to be placed between carpets, tatami mats, and floors to absorb and remove smoke, deodorize cooking odors, toilet odors, etc., and prevent harmful gases from the outside air from entering living rooms, etc. An activated carbon sheet that can be called a simple activated carbon filter that can be supplied at low cost and can be used for various purposes such as packaging paper for preserving the freshness of fresh foods, especially vegetables and fresh fish, and its production. This is an attempt to provide a method. [Means for Solving the Problems] In order to achieve the above object, in the activated carbon sheet of the present invention, granular particles consisting of powdery or granular activated carbon and water-soluble adhesive particles are provided between paper layers. A laminated structure is obtained by forming a layer or a mixed layer consisting of the activated carbon, soft fiber pieces, and water-soluble adhesive particles. For reasons to be described later, the granular layer or mixed layer is formed between the rough or uneven surface of one paper layer and the rough or uneven surface of the other paper layer, while the water-soluble adhesive is A starch-based adhesive is effective. Further, each paper layer is preferably made of machine-made Japanese paper or a similar flexible paper. And the amount of activated carbon used is
Although it is variable depending on the purpose of use of the activated carbon sheet, it is desirable to have as much as possible in order to achieve an excellent adsorption effect.

As the method for manufacturing the activated carbon sheet, the method described in claim 6 or 7 is preferable for the reasons described later. Air pollution and bad odors in living rooms of houses can be divided into cases where the cause is internal and cases where the cause is external. The former includes, for example, cigarette smoking, cooking of garlic, onions, fish, etc., and excrement, while the latter includes, for example, exhaust from factories and automobile exhaust.
These cause air pollution, Sow, No-No
Air contaminated with pollutants such as T, Co, and oxidants easily enters the rooms of ordinary wooden houses in Japan through, for example, gaps in the floor or shoji screens. The activated carbon sheet according to the present invention can be placed between a carpet or tatami floor, pasted on a wall, etc., or used as shoji paper. Activated carbon as an agent adsorbs and removes polluted air and bad odors as described above, or adsorbs and filters them. It goes without saying that it can also absorb moisture.

Therefore, the activated carbon sheet according to the present invention can be used for air conditioning equipment,
Although it cannot perform the advanced adsorption function of a full-fledged cylindrical activated carbon filter or bypass type activated carbon filter that is used in conjunction with ventilation equipment, it can be used as a type of simple activated carbon filter that is easy to use. It is possible to effectively accomplish things that cannot be achieved with these full-scale activated carbon filters. Next, taking as an example the case where vegetables as fresh food are packaged with the activated carbon sheet according to the present invention, the amount of oxygen supplied to the packaged vegetables will be the same as when the vegetables are unwrapped, that is, in a naked state. However, if harmful gases such as carbon dioxide are generated, which reduce the freshness of the vegetables, the activated carbon interposed between the paper layers will remove the gases. Because it is adsorbed, the freshness of the vegetables is maintained and the loss of nutrients such as carbohydrates and vitamin C is prevented. [Example] For convenience of explanation, first, the method for producing an activated carbon sheet according to the present invention will be described with reference to FIG.

The raw material for powdered or granular activated carbon may be coal or other materials, but coconut shell charcoal is preferred because it has excellent longevity, adsorption performance, and other aspects.
If the particle size is too small, the filtration speed will be slow, so it is better to use a particle size that is not too small, but activated carbon sheets for shoji paper should have a relatively small particle size, for example, about 30 to 60 microns. The activated carbon sheet for bedding is preferably one with a relatively large particle size, for example, about 1 to 4 mm. Furthermore, the appropriate amount of activated carbon to be used is about 20 to 60% of the basis weight of the activated carbon sheet.
