Abstract

PURPOSE:To form an ice shape having a free configuration matched with a cooling coil by forming the base body of a shape by bending the cooling coil in matching relation to the configuration of the shape and supplying a cooling medium into the base body in such a state that the base body is sunk in water to stick an ice layer on the base body. CONSTITUTION:A frame body 2 is formed by using a material relatively easy in processing such as a steel material or a thermoplastic resin and a cooling coil 3 like a vinyl tube having a relatively small diameter (e.g. outer diameter: about 9mm or less) and flexibility is wound around the frame body 2. This cooling coil 3 is connected to a freezer 5 through a header 4. The base body 1 thus constituted is submerged in the water of a water tank 6 and a cooling medium is supplied into the cooling coil 3 to cool said coil 3 and the water in contact with the surface of the coil is frozen to form an ice layer 7.

In recent years, construction of leisure lands and the like has become popular, and ornamental ice sculptures are sometimes installed in these leisure lands and the like. In addition, ice sculptures have been installed for ornamental purposes in hotels and the like. Conventionally, such ornamental ice sculptures have generally been formed by carving ice blocks. In addition, when the coolness is sacrificed, a method of modeling with mortar etc. is adopted.

However, there are various problems with the ice-shaped objects as described above. In other words, in the method of sculpting ice cubes, it not only takes time to shape the ice cubes, but it is also difficult to maintain the shape, which undeniably shortens the viewing time and increases manufacturing costs. There is a drawback.

The present invention has been made in order to solve the above-mentioned problems of the conventional art. This method of forming an ice-shaped object is characterized by supplying a refrigerant into the base body to adhere an ice layer to the base body while the base body is submerged in water.

In the present invention, the base body is manufactured from the cooling coil itself or from a material with a built-in cooling coil in accordance with the shape of the object, and the base body is cooled in water to form the base body into a bone. Since it forms an ice layer, it is possible to efficiently produce ice objects, and by circulating a refrigerant through this cooling coil, the shape of the ice objects can be maintained for a long period of time. can be maintained and appreciated.

More specifically, the frame 2 is made of a material that is relatively easy to process, such as steel or thermoplastic resin, and the frame 2 is made of vinyl that has a relatively small diameter (for example, an outer diameter of about 9 mm or less) and is flexible. A cooling coil 3 such as a tube is wound around the frame 2, and the cooling coil 3 is connected to a refrigeration device 5 via a header 4.

By this method, an ice layer 7 is formed on the surface of the base body 1, and an ice-shaped object is formed. Since this ice layer is transparent, the cooling coil 3 may be made transparent if necessary, such as when a light source is placed inside the obtained ice model to cause it to emit light, or when the cooling coil 3 is not made to stand out. It is preferable to use a coil. When the ice object is a snow doll, ice N7 is formed on the surface of the base body 1 by the above-described means, and then it is pulled out of the water tank and a refrigerant is flowed through the cooling coil 3 in the air. A layer of frost adheres to the surface, and a simulated snowdrop is formed that has almost no difference in appearance from an actual snowball.

In addition, as described above, the ice layer of the ice sculpture pulled up from the aquarium is transparent, and when ornamental lighting is applied to the ice sculpture, the illumination effect is small. For this reason, it is better to form milky white ice, but in this case, the ice sculpture pulled out of the aquarium is left in the air for a predetermined period of time, frost is attached to its surface, and then water is poured on top of the frost. Milky white ice can be easily formed by spraying to form an ice layer.
