Conventional technology: In compass surveying, a compass equipped with a magnetic needle and a dial is generally mounted on top of a transit, etc., and the azimuth angle is determined by a structure in which the axis of rotation of the transit is aligned with the horizontal rotation pivot of the magnetic needle. Surveys of mountains, forests, farmland, mines, etc. are carried out while searching. At this time, a method is adopted in which the position indicated by the magnetic needle is directly observed on the azimuth dial and the azimuth is read, so the dial occupies a position higher than the observer's eyes, and the compass is read from the top. It is impossible to avoid the difficulty of observation work, which requires looking into the sky. In order to solve this problem, a method has been adopted in which a reflective mirror or prism is attached to the compass body, and the dial is viewed through the reflective mirror or prism.

However, using such a conventional observation mechanism using a compass, it is difficult to observe a magnetic needle that swings vertically in the direction of the magnetic needle in all directions. That is,
For practical reasons, it is impossible to use a reflecting mirror with a very wide width, and one must use a very narrow one, which makes it impossible to fit the entire dial within the field of view, making it difficult to measure direction. The range will be limited. In order to widen this observation range, for example, if a large reflecting mirror or prism that can accommodate more than half of the dial is installed, it will be disadvantageous in terms of price and structure, the product value will decrease in terms of appearance, and it will also be difficult to store. It will be inconvenient.

It is an object of the present invention to provide a compass with a reflecting mirror that can overcome the drawbacks of the conventional compass with a reflecting mirror as described above, has a wide observation range of the magnetic needle direction angle, and is easy to perform observation work.

Means for solving the problem...In order to achieve the above-mentioned purpose, the present invention uses a reflective prism or a ring member rotatably installed around the outer periphery of a circular compass body in which a magnetic needle and a dial are installed. This compass has a circular compass with a rotating reflecting mirror, which is characterized by a reflecting mirror.

実施例……図面に示す実施例について本考案を説

Embodiments: The present invention will be described below with reference to embodiments shown in the drawings.

As shown in FIG. 1, a needle holder 5 is fixed in the center of the compass main body 8, and a rotatable magnetic needle 4 is placed at the tip of the needle holder 5, and a dial 6 and its protective cover are placed opposite the magnetic needle 4. The glass 1 is fixed to the main body 8, and the glass holder 2 for pressing the cover glass 1 is attached to the main body 8.
A circular compass having the same structure as the conventional one is constructed as shown in the figure. Note that 11 is a lifter for fixing the magnetic needle, and 12 is a knob for operating it.

Next, in this embodiment, a groove 8' is provided in the outer peripheral part of the compass main body 8 as shown in the figure, and the ring member 7 is rotatably fitted therein and configured so that it can be stopped at a desired position. . Therefore, the ring member 7 may be allowed to freely rotate around the compass body 8, and a small screw with a knob or a spring (not shown) may be used to stop the rotation. Then, a reflective mirror 3 is attached to the ring member 7 via a bracket 9 and a pin 10.
It is mounted so that it can rotate freely around the pin 10, that is, can freely rise and fall with respect to the scale plate 6, making it convenient not only for observation but also for carrying and storage.

Function: With the configuration as described above, the reflecting mirror 3 is tilted appropriately (generally about 45 degrees), the compass is viewed from the side, and the ring member 7 is rotated so that the position of the magnetic needle is approximately in the center of the field of view. Then, as shown in FIG. 2, the magnetic needle 4 and the dial 6 are observed on the reflecting mirror 3 as virtual images 4' and 6', respectively.

When a reflective prism is used, it functions in the same way except for the above-mentioned undulating operation.

As is clear from the above explanation, according to the present invention, it is possible to easily read the scale in all directions by adding an extremely simple operation of rotating the ring member, and observation without parallax error is possible. Therefore, it is possible to perform compass surveying with ease and accuracy and efficiency.
