Claims (1)

【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) ボデイに軸受を介して支持された回転軸の
一端にインペラを固定し、該インペラと軸受間に
メカニカルシールを設け、外部動力により駆動プ
ーリを介し前記回転軸を回転させてエンジン冷却
水を循環させるウオータポンプ装置において、前
記メカニカルシールと軸受との間の空間に連結さ
れたベーパ排出口とドレン排出口を、ボデイ内に
おいて夫々前記空間から上下方向に向かうように
形成された穴と、該各穴の途中から夫々駆動プー
リの内方部に向けて斜めに延長された穴とにより
構成し、駆動プーリの回転によりペーパ排出口か
らドレン排出口方向に流れる駆動プーリ内の空気
の流れに乗せて、前記空間内に冷却水入口部から
メカニカルシールを経て浸入したペーパ状物を排
出することを特徴とするウオータポンプ装置。 (2) 請求項1記載のウオータポンプ装置におい
て、駆動プーリの内部に複数のフインを設け、駆
動プーリの回転によりベーパ排出口からドレン排
出口方向に流れる駆動プーリ内の空気の流れを促
進することを特徴とするウオータポンプ装置。 (3) 請求項1記載のウオータポンプ装置におい
て、駆動プーリの内方に複数の絞りを突設し、駆
動プーリの回転によりベーパ排出口からドレン排
出口方向に流れる駆動プーリ内の空気の流れを促
進することを特徴とするウオータポンプ装置。 (4) 請求項1記載のウオータポンプ装置におい
て、駆動プーリの内面に固定され前記回転軸に該
プーリを固定するプーリブラケツトに複数の張り
出し部を設け、駆動プーリの回転によりベーパ排
出口からドレン排出口方向に流れる駆動プーリ内
の空気の流れを促進することを特徴とするウオー
タポンプ装置。
