て相対移動不能に配置された主永久磁石とを備え
、磁気抵抗素子は互いに直列接続され、両磁気抵
抗素子の両端に信号が入力され、その中央より信
号が出力されるようにした位置検出装置において
、 磁気抵抗素子の配列方向に位置調節可能で、主
永久磁石より磁気抵抗素子の配列方向の寸法が小
さく、かつその磁束が磁気抵抗素子を貫いて被検
出体に対してほぼ直角方向に作用する副永久磁石
