てなる磁気ドラムと、上記磁気信号を検出する磁
気センサと、上記磁気ドラム及び磁気センサを包
囲するカバーとを有してなる磁気エンコーダであ
つて、 上記磁気ドラムは、外周にリング状の凸部又は
凹部を有し、 上記カバーは、上記凸部又は凹部に対向する鍔
部を有し、 上記凸部又は凹部と上記鍔部とによつて、上記
磁気センサへの異物侵入防止機能をもたせたこと
を特徴とする磁気エンコーダ。 ２ 磁気ドラムのリング状凸部又は凹部は、磁気
ドラムとこの磁気ドラムに固着されたポールマグ
ネツト用ヨークとの組合せによつて形成されてい
