間に形成されるニツプにより被加熱材を加熱定着
するようにし、更に上記定着ローラの温度を制御
装置により設定温度に制御するようにしてある定
着装置において、上記定着ローラの表面性を検知
するための表面性検知装置を設け、且つ該表面性
検知装置による検知値と少なくとも一つの規定値
の上下関係に基づいて上記設定温度又はニツプ幅
を変更するための指令を出力する機能を、上記制
御装置に具備させてなることを特徴とする定着装
