Claims (1)

【特許請求の範囲】 1、予め所定の長さに切断されたタイヤ構成材料を搬送
装置上で長さを測定し、次いで所定位置まで搬送し、か
つ測定した結果に基づいてドラム周速に対する搬送装置
の送り速度を演算し、タイヤ構成材料の先端と後端が一
致するようにタイヤ構成材料を巻付けドラムに巻付ける
ように供給するタイヤ構成材料の供給方法において、前
記タイヤ構成材料を搬送装置により搬送する際、前記タ
イヤ構成材料の長手方向の両側縁部を、搬送装置の側部
に配設されたカムにより開閉作動する複数の一対の把持
手段によりクランプし、この把持手段により両側縁部を
クランプした状態でタイヤ構成材料を前記巻付けドラム
に供給して巻付けると共に、巻付け時直前に、前記複数
の一対の把持手段をタイヤ構成材料の側縁部から順次解
除することを特徴とするタイヤ構成材料の供給方法。 2、回転する巻付けドラムと、この巻付けドラムの下方
に昇降可能に設置され、かつ所定長さのタイヤ構成材料
を巻付けドラムに供給する搬送装置とから成るタイヤ構
成材料の供給装置において、前記搬送装置上の近傍に、
タイヤ構成材料の長さを測定するための測定手段と、ド
ラム周速に対して搬送装置の送り速度を演算し制御する
制御装置とを設置し、前記搬送装置の長手方向の両側近
傍に直線状のカムを配設すると共に、このカムと接触し
て開閉作動する複数の一対の把持手段を、前記搬送装置
の両側縁部の長手方向に所定の間隔を隔てて設置し、前
記カムと接触して開閉する把持手段は、巻付けドラムに
タイヤ構成材料を巻付け時直前に、タイヤ構成材料の両
側縁部を順次解除するように構成したことを特徴とする
タイヤ構成材料の供給装置。
