ー間に通してトナー像の定着を行なわせるととも
に、このトナー像の定着を行なう際に上記一対の
ローラー表面にトナーが転移することを防止する
ようにした定着装置のオフセツト防止機構におい
て、 上記一対のローラーのうちの少なくともトナー
像に接触される側のローラーの表面には、摩擦帯
電を行なわせるためのコーテイング層が形成され
ているとともに、 上記コーテイング層は、前記ローラーの表面に
対してトナーを電気的に反発させる摩擦帯電極性
を備える材質から形成されていることを特徴とす
