As shown in Figure 1 A and B (example of dropper), the product part a has been stretched and its thickness has become smaller, and the burr part b around it has been compressed and its thickness has become larger.
If this is allowed to cool (naturally or forcibly), the volumetric shrinkage of product part a with small wall thickness is small, while the volumetric shrinkage of burr part b with large wall thickness is small. Because of the large size, the molded product tends to warp considerably in its longitudinal direction, which has the disadvantage of deteriorating the finish of the product. Depending on the shape of the product to be molded, the warpage may become too large, making it impossible to apply such a manufacturing method using a mold.

Since the generated large force couple f, f acts near both ends of the product part a, a considerably large bending moment is generated and the product part a is greatly warped as shown in the figure. However, the present invention When using this method, as shown in the schematic diagram in Fig. 3B, the burr portion B is divided into a plurality of pieces by stripes or cuts C in the longitudinal direction, so that each divided burr portion The difference in shrinkage length between B' and the corresponding product part A is not so large, and therefore the couple F, F that is generated due to the difference in shrinkage length is also small. Since F... is dispersed in the longitudinal direction of the product part A, the product part A hardly ever warps. This effect has been confirmed through experiments. As described above, according to the method of the present invention, warpage in the longitudinal direction accompanying cooling of the hollow molded product taken out from the mold can be almost eliminated, resulting in a good finish of the product. The degree of freedom of choice has also been greatly increased.

First, as shown in Figure 4A, a plastic (parison) 2 is molded into a cylindrical shape from a die 1, which serves as an extrusion tool for raw material plastic. is extruded, and then, as shown in Fig. 4 (b), this parison 2 is held and pressed by a pair of molds (molds) 3, 3 formed into a predetermined shape, and as shown in Fig. 4 (c). Then, air is injected from one end of the molds 3, 3 using a mandrel 4, and the parison 2 is molded according to the shape of the inner surface of the molds 3, 3.
