ことを目的とするものである.[Industrial Application Field] The present invention relates to a conversion type heat sealing agent for heat sealable lid materials used for containers. [Prior Art] As a heat-sealable lid material for heat-sealing a lid to the mouth of the container after filling the container with contents for consumption, etc., a solution-type heat-sealing agent usually called VC is applied to aluminum foil. It is known that a heat-sealing layer is formed by applying directly. However, VC has difficulty adhering to polyethylene, etc.
Since it can only be used with a lid made of a single layer of aluminum foil, there are drawbacks such as poor sealing properties and corrosion of the aluminum foil depending on the contents. Therefore, in order to form a heat seal layer on a base material made of aluminum foil laminated with plastic such as polyethylene, hot melt coating methods, sealant methods using extrusion coating or dry lamination have also been used. This is because the polyethylene layer laminated to the base material of the lid acts as a protection and cushion, so there is no damage to the paint film or aluminum foil during heat sealing, improving airtightness. Corrosion of foils can now be prevented, but since these are heat-melting types, there is a risk of thermal deterioration of the resin components and deterioration of quality. They also tend to cause uneven coating, and require expensive ancillary equipment, making them costly. There were problems such as an increase in For this reason, the present inventors previously proposed a solution type heat sealing agent for heat sealing lid materials in which a specific ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer and a tackifier were dissolved in a solvent. (Special application Hei 1
-16427 Publication) This has good adhesion to the polyethylene etc. laminated to the base material of the lid, so it is possible to easily form a heat seal layer on the top surface, and hot melt coating. The shortcomings of the heat deterioration and sealant methods, such as heat deterioration and uneven application, were resolved, and costs were reduced, which produced some results. However, since it uses petroleum-based solvents, solvents may remain on the coating film if care is not taken to dry and vent, making it unsuitable for use in food containers and creating a sanitary working environment. There was also the risk that problems would occur. In addition, there are viscosity restrictions due to the application process, and there is a limit to the resin solid content in the solution, so it may not be possible to obtain a sufficient film thickness with one application, and the heat seal layer Another problem was that it required two coats to obtain sufficient strength and adhesion. [Problems to be Solved by the Invention] The present invention allows the use of a lid material made by laminating plastic such as polyethylene on aluminum foil, forms a desired film thickness with one application, and has no residual organic solvent. The purpose is to provide a heat sealing agent that does not cause hygiene problems in the workplace.

The present invention was completed based on the knowledge that the above problems could be solved by using a dispersion dispersed at a specific ratio. That is, the present invention provides an α-olefin/vinyl ester copolymer 5 having a vinyl ester content of 15 to 35% by weight.

This is a dispersion-type heat-sealing agent for heat-sealable lid materials, which is made by dispersing 100 parts by weight of a 50% by weight mixture in 50 to 400 parts by weight of a water/alcohol mixture. Examples of the α-olefin/vinyl ester copolymer used in the present invention include ethylene, brobylene, 1-butene, 1-bentene, 1-hexene, 4-methyl. + 1-
A copolymer of 1-olefinically unsaturated hydrocarbons such as pentene and vinyl esters derived from lower aliphatic carboxylic acids having 7 or less carbon atoms such as vinyl acetate, vinyl butyrate, vinyl blobionate, and vinyl benzoate. Yes, especially α
-Copolymers using ethylene as the olefin and vinyl acetate as the vinyl ester thereof are preferred examples. In the present invention, an α-olefin/vinyl ester copolymer having a vinyl ester content of 15 to 35% by weight, preferably 20 to 30% by weight can be used. If the vinyl ester content exceeds 35% by weight, it is unsuitable because the adhesion to plastics such as polyethylene decreases, and 15! If the amount is less than %, the heat sealing strength to the adherend such as polypropylene or high-impact polystyrene, which becomes the container, will be insufficient. Many tackifiers can be used, including rosin, rosin derivatives, terbenes, terpene derivatives, aliphatic petroleum resins, aromatic petroleum resins, and hydrogenated products thereof.
It must have good compatibility with the α-olefin/vinyl ester copolymer. By using these tackifiers, the heat sealing strength can be increased. As the wax, various natural waxes, paraffin wax, polyethylene wax, microcrystalline wax, hydrogenated vegetable oil, etc. can be used. By adding waxes, it is possible to improve the blocking resistance of the heat seal layer to the surface of the lid material. In the present invention, α-olefin/vinyl ester copolymer 50 to 95! The tackifier and wax should be blended in a proportion of 5 to 50% by weight. If the amount of tatsukifire and wax is less than this range, the heat sealing strength will decrease and the heat sealing temperature will become high, which is not preferable. If the amount exceeds this range, the adhesion to the polyethylene layered on the lid material will be poor. The water/alcohol mixture according to the present invention may be a mixture of water and a lower alcohol such as ethyl alcohol, methyl alcohol, isobrobyl alcohol, or normal brobyl alcohol. The alcohol concentration in the water/alcohol mixture is 10-50
% by weight, preferably 20-40% by weight. If the alcohol concentration is too high, the viscosity of the dispersion will increase and the dispersion state will tend to be poor. If the alcohol concentration is too low, the viscosity of the dispersion will decrease and the surface tension will increase, causing the dispersion to become laminated on the lid material. This is undesirable because it impairs the wetting of the polyethylene layer and makes it difficult to form a uniform film. Appropriate amounts of various known surfactants may be used in this water/alcohol mixture to stabilize the dispersion state. In the present invention, a mixture of α-olefin/vinyl ester copolymer, tackifier and wax 100
The water/alcohol mixture is 50 to 400 parts by weight!
It is possible to obtain a dispersed version by adding a certain amount of the resin component and micronizing the resin component using various known dispersing machines such as an autoclave under heat and pressure. If the amount of the water/alcohol mixture added is less than this range, the resin component particles will tend to aggregate and the stability of the dispersion will be poor; if it is too much, the solid content ratio will become low. This is inappropriate because it is impossible to obtain the desired film thickness with one application of the heat sealant. The heat-sealing agent of the present invention can be used for candy-sealing lidding materials whose base material is a laminate of aluminum foil and thermosetting plastic film. The thickness of aluminum foil used for heat-sealing lid material is 30 mm.
A value of about μ is used. One side of this aluminum foil is generally provided with a printing layer, and the other side is coated with a thermoplastic film approximately 30μ thick with an anchor coat layer mainly made of isocyanate resin, etc. It is pasted together. Examples of the thermoplastic film include high-density polyethylene, low-density polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer, cellophane, resin-coated cellophane (K-coated film), polyester, and nylon. Among them, polyolefins such as polyethylene and polypropylene are mainly used. A heat sealing layer can be formed by applying the heat sealing agent of the present invention to the surface of this thermoplastic film by a known gravure coating method, roll coating method, etc., and then drying and solidifying it. . [Examples] Examples are shown below, but the present invention is not limited to the following examples. In addition, in the examples, parts indicate parts by weight, and percentages indicate weight %. Examples 1-4, Comparative Examples 1-9. Table 1 shows the blending ratios of Examples and Comparative Examples. As the α-olefin/vinyl ester copolymer, five types of E with a vinyl ester content of 10%, 22%, 28%, 33%, and 40% are prepared using ethylene and vinyl acetate.
A VA copolymer was used. For the hydrogenated rosin ester, use Ester Gum HP (trade name, manufactured by Arakawa Chemical Co., Ltd.), and for the wax, use trade name A (trade name, manufactured by Allied Chemical Co., Ltd.).
C680 was used. For each example and comparative example, the average particle size of each resin particle was determined by stirring for about 50 minutes while heating to about 130°C in an autoclave with a stirring blade that rotates at about 900 times per minute. A dispersion was obtained by refining and dispersing the particles to a size of 10 μm or less. In Comparative Example 9, the sample was dissolved not in a dispersion but in 70 parts of toluene/ethyl acetate. Dispersion stability was determined by visually observing the state of the dispersion after leaving it for one week.
The evaluation was rated O if it was good, and × if it was bad. The base material for the lid is a 30μ thick aluminum foil coated with an isocyanate resin anchor coating agent, and then a 30μ thick low density polyethylene (Mitsui Petrochemicals, trade name Mirason 1B) is laminated to form a k film. It was used. For the polyethylene side of this multilayer film, the plate depth is 50 mm.
The heat sealants according to each example and comparative example were applied at a speed of about 100 meters per minute using a μ gravure cylinder to a solid content of 7 g/m. If there was no repellency during application, it was evaluated as 0, and if there was, it was evaluated as ×.The application position was measured by the solvent removal method.
The unit is g/m2. After application, the coating was immediately treated in a drying device at approximately 150°C to dry and solidify the coating surface, and then wound up with a winder. The adherend to which the lid is attached is made of high-impact polystyrene (
Densu Kagaku Kogyo Co., Ltd. (trade name: HIS-2)) and boribropyrene (Mitsui Toatsu Kagaku Co., Ltd. (trade name: Mitsui Noblen J-4H)
) using k. Heat sealing was performed using a hot plate heat sealer at a temperature of 180°C and a pressure of 2Kg/m'' for 1 second.
A rating of 100 or more was evaluated as ○, and a score of 100 or less was evaluated as ×. Adhesion strength with high impact polystyrene (H I PS) and polypropylene (PP) was measured using a tensile tester at a tensile speed of 150 mm/min using a test piece cut to 15 mm including the heat-sealed part. The 180° peel strength was measured. The unit is g/15mm. Blocking was performed at a room temperature of 40°C, humidity of 90%, and a load of 30
Those in good condition after being left for 24 hours under conditions of 0 g/C m 2 were evaluated as ○, and those in poor condition were evaluated as ×. The residual solvent was measured by FID method using gas chromatography. The unit is mg/m2. Each measurement result is
It is shown in the table. Table 1 Table 2 [Effects of the Invention] As explained above, the heat sealing agent according to the structure of the present invention uses a specific mixture of a specific α-olefin/vinyl ester copolymer, a tackifier, and a wax. This allows for good adhesion to thermoplastics such as polyethylene, making it possible to use a multilayer film made of aluminum foil and thermoplastics as a base material for lids, improving the adhesion of containers. It is excellent, can prevent paint film and aluminum foil cracking, and can form a highly reliable sealing layer. In addition, the heat sealing agent according to the present invention is a dispersion type made of a water/alcohol mixture, does not use harmful petroleum solvents, and uses alcohol with a relatively low boiling point, so there is no residual No solvent phenomenon occurs, and there is no problem at all when using this product in food containers.F9. In addition, no harmful solvent gas is generated during coating and drying with heat sealant, so hygiene problems can be alleviated. The heat sealing agent according to the present invention is
Since it is a dispersion in which microparticles of resin components are dispersed in water, a layer of resin solids is immediately formed after the solvent is dried, and by adjusting the concentration appropriately, a large amount of solids can be applied in one application. Since it is possible to easily form a film with a predetermined thickness, it has great industrial effects, such as greatly improving work efficiency.
