DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION (Field of Industrial Application) The present invention relates to a cleaning sheet and a cleaning method for cleaning between rollers arranged opposite to each other, such as a photosensitive drum and a transfer roller in an image recording device. .. (Prior Art) Some conventional image recording devices include a photosensitive drum and a transfer roller, which are arranged to face each other.
In this method, a toner image formed on the surface of the photosensitive drum is transferred onto the transfer paper by passing a transfer paper between the photosensitive drum and a transfer roller, and then fixed. This type of image recording device may be used if it has been left unused for a long time and is covered with dust, or if the transfer paper gets jammed between the photosensitive drum and the transfer roller, causing toner to leak onto the transfer roller. If this occurs, the transfer roller will become dirty (dust, dirt, toner) and the back of the transfer paper will get dirty, so the transfer roller must be cleaned. (Problem H to be solved by the invention) However, during conventional cleaning, the main body of the image recording apparatus is first disassembled to take out the transfer roller, then the surface of the transfer roller is cleaned, and then reassembled. Work must be done in order. Therefore, a lot of time and effort are spent cleaning the transfer roller and doing other work. Also, the above decomposition. During assembly work, the transfer roller and its peripheral equipment may be scratched or damaged, causing them to lose their original functionality. The present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems, and aims to provide a cleaning sheet and a cleaning method that can clean rollers arranged opposite to each other as they are without disassembling them. (Means for Solving the Problems) In order to achieve the above object, the present invention has constructed a cleaning sheet in which a cleaning means is provided on the surface of the sheet that can pass between rollers arranged opposite to each other. In addition, a cleaning method has been constructed in which a cleaning sheet, which is provided with cleaning means on the surface of the sheet, is passed between rollers arranged opposite to each other. (Function) The function of the present invention based on the above structure is that when a cleaning sheet is passed between rollers arranged opposite to each other, the surfaces of the rollers are cleaned by the cleaning means. (Example) Next, this invention will be explained based on the attached drawings. FIG. 1 shows a photosensitive drum 7 as a roller disposed facing each other with a predetermined gap in an image recording apparatus A according to the present invention, and a transfer roller 8 connected to a high-voltage power source. It is a schematic side sectional view when cleaning the surface. Upstream in the conveying direction of the photosensitive drum 7 and the transfer roller 8, which are arranged opposite to each other across the conveyance path B, a paper feed cassette 3 is provided in which transfer paper 2 cut to a predetermined size is loaded. Reference numeral 4 designates a paper feed roller for transporting the transfer paper 2 from the paper feed cassette 3, and reference numeral 5 and 6 designate registration rollers disposed opposite to each other between the paper feed cassette 3, the photosensitive drum 7, and the transfer roller 8. 9.1
0 is a fixing roller disposed opposite to the photosensitive drum 7 and the transfer roller 8 on the downstream side. Figure 2 (a) and (b) show 1,000 steps of cleaning on the surface of sheet 11.
The cleaning sheet l provided with 2 is shown. This sheet 11 is cut to the same size as the transfer paper 2, and is made of a combustible material such as paper that has been colored in a different color. The cleaning means 12 is a semi-adhesive material applied to the entire width of the center of the sheet 11, and is applied to the front margin 1a and the back along the direction of passage between the photosensitive drum 7 and the transfer roller 8. This forms a side margin 1b. The length L1 of the margin portion 1a of this sheet 11 is longer than the entire circumference length of the registration roller 6. The cleaning means 12 cleans the transfer paper 2 directly below when the transfer paper 2 is stacked as shown in FIG.
The rollers 6 and 10 are selected to have a property that they do not stick to each other, and the surface of the transfer roller 8 is free from dirt and dust.
It has adhesive properties that can remove adhesives such as toner. Furthermore,
The length L2 of this cleaning means 12 is equal to or longer than the entire circumference of the transfer roller 8, that is, the length of one rotation. Furthermore, the length L3 of the margin portion tb is longer than the entire circumference of the fixing roller 10. Next, a method of cleaning the surface of the transfer roller 8 using the cleaning sheet 1 will be explained. First, as shown in FIG. 1, the cleaning sheet l is placed in the paper feed cassette 3 with the cleaning means 12 facing down! Place. - Then, when the image formatting button (not shown) is turned on, the cleaning sheet 1 is carried out toward the conveyance path B by the paper feed roller 4, and the cleaning sheet 1 is carried out by the registration roller 5.6.
The image is conveyed between the photosensitive drum 7 and the transfer roller 8. Then, the cleaning means 12 of the cleaning sheet 1 comes into contact with the surface of the transfer roller 8, and passes through the constant M rollers 9 and 10 while removing dirt, dust, toner, and the like. Therefore, the image forming apparatus A must be disassembled and the transfer roller 8
Since the transfer roller 8 can be carried out as it is without any removal work or assembly work after cleaning the surface of the transfer roller 8, the overall cleaning time and labor can be saved. In addition, unlike the conventional 'transfer roller 8 during disassembly and assembly work,
or damage or damage its peripheral equipment.
This will not cause the original function of the image formatting device to be lost. Furthermore, since the surface of the transfer roller 8 is not touched, unevenness in the image density recorded on the transfer paper during image recording due to changes in resistance as a semiconductive roller can be prevented. Can be done. Further, since the sheet 11 is made of a combustible material, after cleaning the transfer roller 8, it can be incinerated as is by peeling off the cleaning stage 12. In the above embodiment, the cleaning sheet}1 is placed in the paper feed cassette 3! Although we have explained an example in which the transport
Paper may also be fed from a manual feed slot (not shown) that communicates with B. Also, when storing the transfer paper 2 in the paper feed cassette 3. If cleaning sheets 1 are set in advance at intervals of a certain number of sheets, the surface of the transfer roller 8 can be cleaned at intervals of a certain number of sheets. Furthermore, if a cleaning sheet 1 is added when the transfer paper 2 is packaged by the manufacturer, the transfer roller 8 can be automatically cleaned without the user being aware of it. Furthermore, if an identification means such as an identification mark is provided only on the side of the sheet 1l where the cleaning stages 12 are located, #. Do not mistake the top and bottom surfaces when doing H.
Adverse effects on the surface of the photosensitive drum 7 can be prevented. Furthermore, if the sheet l1 is colored differently from the transfer paper 2, it can be easily distinguished from the transfer paper 2. Furthermore, in the above embodiment, a semi-adhesive material is provided on the surface of the sheet 11 to constitute the cleaning stage 12, but even if a chemical that becomes sticky when the temperature exceeds a certain level is applied, good. In this case, it is also effective for cleaning dirt on the fixing roller. Furthermore, if the size of the cleaning sheet 1 is the same as or slightly wider than the image recording width of various image recording devices, it is possible to cover the transfer roller 8 with just one pass of the cleaning sheet 1. It can clean all surfaces and is even more effective. (Effects of the Invention) Since the present invention is constructed as described above, rollers arranged facing each other can be cleaned as they are.
As a result, the series of disassembly, cleaning, and assembly operations required in the past can be significantly reduced, resulting in an excellent effect that contributes to shortening cleaning time and saving labor. In addition, it is possible to prevent the occurrence of damage or damage to the rollers and their peripheral equipment during disassembly and assembly, which would cause the rollers to lose their original functions.
