(Prior Art) Conventionally, water heaters and the like have been used to display the set temperature by lighting, and an example of such a display device is to use a plurality of light emitting diodes as proposed by the applicant in Utility Model Application No. 58-29572. There is one in which a number of light emitting diodes are arranged in a line and lit according to the set temperature, and displayed in a bar graph form.

(Problem to be solved by the invention) However, even if such a display device can display the set temperature, it is unclear whether the actual operating temperature matches the set temperature, and especially at the beginning of use, the water temperature does not reach the set temperature. It takes a certain amount of time for the product to start up, so if the startup time is long, the hot water temperature must be set higher, or if it overshoots, the water temperature must be set lower, leading to incorrect operation and creating a poor usability. Therefore, if the set temperature and the detected hot water temperature are both displayed on the display device, it is possible to provide a display device that is easy to use.

By the way, conventionally, a configuration for displaying a plurality of different contents on a common display means is disclosed in, for example, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No.
It is known from Public Relations No. 141947. In this known example, different contents are displayed by changing the illuminance of a single lamp, which is a difficult configuration for temperature display. In addition, in other conventional examples, there is a difference between continuous lighting and blinking of the light emitting diode. A configuration for displaying content has already been adopted.

However, as mentioned above, in order to display the set temperature or hot water temperature in a bar shape by arranging multiple light emitting diodes in a row, the conventional technology requires that the number of display output terminals of a microcomputer in the display control section be adjusted to emit light. It is necessary to provide the same number of diodes,
It is expensive, and there are problems such as an insufficient number of output terminals to perform other displays using the output terminals.

(Function) When the hot water temperature is set to a desired temperature, the output of the hot water temperature display output terminal and the output terminal is controlled, and a considerable number of light emitting diodes corresponding to the set temperature are turned on, and the set temperature is displayed in a bar graph. Display it by shining it,
On the other hand, the temperature detector constantly detects the hot water temperature, controls the output of the hot water temperature display output terminal and the output terminal according to the detected hot water temperature, and switches a considerable number of light emitting diodes according to the detected hot water temperature to the above set temperature. For example, the display is made to blink in a way that is different from what is displayed.

7 is an operating switch, 8 is a water temperature setting means, which has a switch 8a for raising the water temperature and a switch 8b for lowering the water temperature, which are closed only when both are pressed. ,
The microcomputer 4 counts the number of times each switch 8a, 8b is pressed and outputs the output terminals 11a, 11b, 1 according to the set value.
1c, and outputs a signal of eight levels of hot water temperature setting to a buffer 13 via an inverter 3 and a resistor 12, and this output signal is amplified by an amplifier 14 and outputted to a gas amount, etc. (not shown). output to the control circuit. Further, the microcomputer 4 determines a considerable number of light emitting diodes according to the above set values and controls the outputs of the hot water temperature display output terminals 5a to 5d and the output terminals 15a and 15b. Reference numeral 16 denotes a temperature detector consisting of a thermistor for detecting the temperature of water, and a signal of the detected water temperature is input to the microcomputer 4. The microcomputer 4 converts the signal of the detected hot water temperature into AD, determines the light emitting diodes (LEDs) 2a to 2h corresponding to the detected hot water temperature based on the procedure shown in FIG. 3, and outputs the corresponding hot water temperature display output terminal. Blinking output is made from 5a to 5d.

In the above configuration, when the hot water temperature is set by the hot water temperature setting means 8, the output corresponding to the setting is output from the amplifier 14.
At the same time, a considerable number of light emitting diodes 2a to 2h corresponding to the set temperature are lit to display the set temperature on the display device 1. That is, when the set temperature is low and the light emitting diode 2h is turned on, the hot water temperature display output terminal 5d and the output terminal 15b are
When a high value is output from , the transistor 6b becomes conductive and the light emitting diode 2h is energized, and the A position of the display device 1 shown in FIG. 2 is lit.
In addition, when lighting from position A to position F, high values may be output alternately from both output terminals 15a and 15b, and high values may be output continuously from the hot water temperature display output terminals 5b to 5d. The images up to 1 are lit up almost continuously due to the afterimage of the light emitting diode.

The detected hot water temperature is displayed after the set temperature is displayed, and the signal input from the temperature detector 16 to the microcomputer 4 is judged based on the procedure shown in FIG. If this is the case, a blinking display is performed by cutting off the high value output from the hot water temperature display output terminal 5d connected to the light emitting diode 2h at regular intervals, so that both the set hot water temperature and the detected hot water temperature are displayed on the same display device. It will be done.
