In order to perform various treatments using an endoscope, the endoscope is equipped with a treatment tool insertion tube through which treatment tools are inserted. This treatment instrument insertion tube generally has an insertion port formed in the operation section of the endoscope, and a protrusion port formed at the tip of the insertion section.

FIG. 5 shows a treatment instrument insertion tube of a conventional endoscope, in which a hard tube 53 made of, for example, a metal pipe is connected in a curved manner to a treatment instrument insertion opening 52 formed in an operating section 51. The forceps channel 54, which was bent and fixed and directed toward the protruding port at the tip of the insertion portion, was fixedly connected to the outer periphery of the end of the hard tube 53.

As shown in FIG. 5, the conventional treatment instrument insertion tube of the above-mentioned endoscope has a hard tube 5 bent into a curve.
Since the forceps channel 54 was simply connected to the end of the hard tube 3, the edge 53a of the hard tube end protruded at right angles to the tube axis direction on the inner peripheral side of the curve. Therefore, when inserting or withdrawing the treatment instrument 55 into or out of the tube, the edge 53a may get caught or create a large resistance, greatly impairing operability, and in some cases, the head 55a of the treatment instrument may be attached to the edge 53a. There was a drawback that the treatment instrument 55 could become wedged and become unable to be removed from the canal.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the treatment instrument insertion tube of the endoscope according to the present invention is made by bending a hard tube connected to the treatment instrument insertion port and provided in the operating section of the endoscope into a curve. A notch is formed at the distal end of the tube wall on the inner circumferential side of the curve, and the notch has an incline inclined with respect to the tube axis. 2
The proximal end of the tube is fixed to the outer periphery of the distal end of the hard tube.

When moving the treatment instrument inserted into the tube,
Since the treatment instrument advances and retreats while contacting the notch portion that is inclined with respect to the tube axis direction, that is, the direction in which the treatment instrument advances and retreats, only small resistance is generated at the contact portion. Since the innermost part of the curve where the treatment instrument is most likely to be hit is deeply cut out, the treatment instrument hardly comes into contact with this part.

FIG. 1 is a side cross-sectional view of the embodiment, in which a hard tube made of stainless steel or hard synthetic resin, for example, is connected to a treatment instrument insertion port 2 formed in the operating section 1 of the endoscope. 3 is bent in a curved manner and is fixedly installed in the operating section 1 with its lower end opening 3a facing downward toward the insertion section (not shown). By bending the treatment instrument insertion path (rigid tube 3) near the treatment instrument insertion opening 2 in this way, the insertion direction of the treatment instrument can be inclined with respect to the operating section, and the length of the operating section can be shortened. A known forceps plug is attached to the insertion port 2. Lower end opening 3 of hard tube 3
In a, a substantially V-shaped cutout 4 is formed in the tube wall on the inner peripheral side 3b of the curve, and the cutout is inclined with respect to the tube axis. Figure 2 is a perspective view of that part.
FIG. 3 is a front view, and the V-shaped openings 4a and apex corner 4b are rounded so that no corners are formed at the cut end.

Reference numeral 5 denotes a flexible forceps channel (second tube) made of, for example, tetrafluoroethylene resin, having approximately the same inner diameter as the hard tube 3, and extending to the tip of the insertion section.
The lower end of the hard tube 3 is press-fitted into the end of the forceps channel 5 and fixed with adhesive, so that the hard tube 3 and the forceps channel 5 are connected. 6
is a wire tightened to reinforce the fixation of the connection.

According to the above-described embodiment configured in this way,
A substantially V-shaped notch 4 having a cut end inclined with respect to the tube axis is formed in the end surface of the tube wall on the inner peripheral side 3b of the curve of the hard tube. Therefore, when removing the treatment instrument 7 inserted into the tube, the treatment instrument 7 is removed while coming into contact with the notch 4 that is inclined with respect to the tube axis direction, that is, the extraction direction. Only a small resistance is generated in the area. especially,
The innermost part of the curve, where the treatment tool is most likely to get caught, is deeply cut out (apex corner 4b), so the treatment tool hardly comes into contact with this part, which greatly contributes to reducing the resistance when removing it. There is. Of course, the same effect can be obtained when inserting a treatment instrument.

FIG. 4 shows a second embodiment of the present invention.
The lower end of the hard tube 13 is cut out linearly from the outer circumference 13e side of the curve to the inner circumference 13b side of the curve, and the end surface 13f of the hard tube is formed as a slope. The treatment instrument insertion tube of the present invention can obtain the same effect as the first embodiment described above even with this configuration, and the cut formed at the end of the tube wall on the inner peripheral side of the curve. Any shape other than the first and second embodiments described above may be used as long as the cut end of the notch is inclined with respect to the tube axis.

In addition, in the above-mentioned embodiment, a flexible forceps channel was illustrated as the second pipe, but the present invention is not limited to this, and the second pipe may be a hard pipe made of metal or the like. It also includes those in which the structure of the present invention is adopted in the middle or the tip of the insertion section of an endoscope.

According to the endoscopic treatment instrument insertion tube of the present invention, the treatment instrument advances and retreats while contacting the cutout portion having the cutout inclined with respect to the direction of advancement and retreat, and the rigid tube is formed by bending in a curve. The innermost part of the curve, where the treatment instrument is most likely to get caught, is deeply cut out so that the treatment instrument hardly makes contact with it, so the resistance when inserting and removing the treatment instrument is significantly reduced, greatly improving operability. Moreover, there is an effect that the fear that the treatment instrument cannot be removed is eliminated, and safety is greatly improved.
