[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Industrial Application Field] The present invention relates to a stair tread that constitutes a part of a staircase in a building.

As is well known, in conventional stairs, the nose of the stairway formed by the front edge of the tread is difficult to see, making it easy for people to miss a step. In this case, the lighting was from the back of the person when getting off the train, and as a result, the tread part became dark due to the person's shadow, making it difficult to see and easily causing the person to miss the step. In order to overcome this drawback, there are devices in which lighting fixtures are provided on the handrails of stairs, as shown in, for example, Japanese Utility Model Application No. 60-191622 and No. 60-191623.

〔考案が解決しようとする問題点〕[Problem that the invention attempts to solve]

However, in the case where the staircase is narrow, such as in a general residential building, the above-mentioned lighting fixture for stairs tends to make the staircase even narrower and to become a hindrance to going up and down the stairs.

Therefore, the present invention has been developed to make the nosing of the stairs more visible with lighting to prevent people from stepping off the treads, and also to allow the lighting equipment to be placed behind the stairs so that they do not get in the way when going up or down the stairs. This is what we are trying to provide.

That is, the stair tread of the present invention is provided with a transparent or semi-transparent part near the front edge of the surface of the main body of the tread, and the back side of the transparent or semi-transparent part is at least connected to the main body of the tread. It is characterized by being located behind the riser plate contact area.

In this case, the back side of the transparent or semi-transparent part will be located behind the riser, so the illumination from the lighting fixture will illuminate the front end of the transparent or semi-transparent part from the back end through the inside thereof. As a result, the vicinity of the nosing of the stairs formed by the front edge of the tread becomes easier to see, thereby preventing accidents caused by stepping off the stairs.

[Embodiment] Next, an embodiment of the present invention shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 will be described. The tread 1 of this example is mainly a horizontal rectangular plate-shaped tread made of wood material such as plywood or laminated wood. 2, and a transparent or translucent part 4 of a synthetic resin plate having translucency, for example, an acrylic resin plate, which penetrates through the back surface of the tread plate main body 2, is provided near the front edge 3 of the front surface of the tread main body 2. 2, and the back side of the transparent or semi-transparent part 4 is positioned at least behind the groove-shaped riser contact area 5 provided on the back surface of the tread main body 2. The back side edge 6 of the transparent or semi-transparent part 4 is slightly protruded from the back side of the main body 2 of the tread plate.

In the construction state of this staircase 9, since the back side of the transparent or semi-transparent part 4 is located behind the riser contact area 5, the illumination by the lighting fixture 10 is from the back end of the transparent or semi-transparent part 4. Illuminates its front end through the interior. As a result, the vicinity of the nosing of the stairs 9 formed by the front edge 3 of the tread 1 becomes easier to see, and accidents caused by stepping off the stairs 9 are prevented. In addition, in this example, since the back side edge 6 of the transparent or semi-transparent part 4 protrudes from the back side of the tread main body 2,
The illumination from the lighting fixture 10 can be efficiently received in the transparent or semi-transparent part 4, and the front end of the transparent or semi-transparent part 4 can be effectively illuminated.

In addition, in this proposal, it is not necessarily necessary that the back end of the transparent or semi-transparent part protrudes from the back surface of the main body of the treadle.

In this way, in the present invention, when in use, the lighting provided behind the stairs passes through the transparent or semi-transparent part located behind the riser and illuminates the front side of the transparent or semi-transparent part located near the front edge of the surface of the tread. The ends of the stairs can be illuminated, making it easier to see the nosings of the stairs and preventing accidents caused by tripping on the stairs. It is also possible to prevent lighting equipment from narrowing the stairs and obstructing people going up and down the stairs.
