【考案の詳細な説明】
［産業上の利用分野］
この考案は、主としてピラー付きハードトツプ
車に取付ける自動車用ウエザーストリツプに関す

［従来の技術］
ピラー付きハードトツプ車のピラーには、フロ
ントドア用とリアドア用とにそれぞれ別々にウエ

の間に隙間が生じ、外観不良を生じていた。また

状態にはなり難かつた。また、ウエザーストリツ
プがセンターピラー部にむき出しになつているの

この考案に係る自動車用ウエザーストリツプ
は、センターピラー本体１をその中央部前後両側
にフランジ部２，３を有するピラー内半部４及び
ピラー外半部５によつて構成し、
ピラー外半部５に近い基端部６を細く且つピラ
ー外半部５から遠い外端部を太くした中央柱部７
と、
中央柱部７を挟んでピラー外半部５の前側及び
後側に延びてそれぞれウエザーストリツプの取付
基部を係止する係止部９，１０とを有するリテー
ナー部材８をピラー外半部５の外面に取付け、
中央柱部７の外端部を連結用薄肉部１１で被
い、且つ両取付基部１２，１３をそれぞれ前記係
止部９，１０に係止し、而も各取付基部１２，１
３から斜め方向に延びる中空シール部１４，１５
をそれぞれ設けてウエザーストリツプ本体１６を
形成し、
ドアガラスの閉止時に、ドアガラス１７，１８
がウエザーストリツプ本体１６の中空シール部１
４，１５に当接する如く構成し、
連結用薄肉部１１の外側にモール１９を配置
し、該モール１９を連結用薄肉部１１に適当な間

の前後がそれぞれ独立的にシール作用をするの
で、シール性能の低下がない。更にモール１９に
