[Detailed description of the invention] "Industrial application field" This invention is designed to move the material to a predetermined position on the printing table during the printing process on a plate-shaped printing material (hereinafter simply referred to as the material) carried onto the printing table. It is also a stopper for positioning the material, and it is also related to the operating structure of the caul plate that moves until it is flush with the material surface during squeegeeing to ensure the safety of squeegeeing. When moving until it is flush with the material surface, differences in the thickness of the material may result in the impossibility of achieving the same surface, but a simple configuration allows this plate to remain substantially constant. The present invention relates to an improvement in an auxiliary device for printing processing that allows for quantity movement.

``Prior art'' ``Problems to be solved by the invention'' Conventionally, in the printing process for materials on a printing table, the positioning of the material in the direction of movement and in the direction perpendicular to it has to be done in advance in relation to a predetermined pattern on a screen plate. After that, the printing process is carried out, and this perpendicular positioning is achieved by the collaborative work of a backing plate that does not move in the direction of the material on the printing table and a movable plate that moves forward and backward. In many cases, when the movable plate is moved to bring the material into contact with the backing plate and position the material in the direction perpendicular to the direction of movement, this backing plate is used during the squeegeeing process. It is often used as an auxiliary member. In other words, the purpose is to prevent the edge of the material from forming a stepped portion during squeegeeing, thereby preventing damage to the screen plate surface caused by the squeegeeing member. However, when adopting such a configuration, after positioning in the perpendicular direction, the backing plate needs to be moved until its surface is flush with the material surface, but the amount of movement depends on the thickness of the material. Adjusting the amount of movement for each material with different plate thickness is difficult.
This was troublesome and the loss time in a continuous automatic processing process was a big problem.

In order to maintain the effectiveness of this backing plate, which works effectively for positioning the material and also greatly contributes to protecting the screen surface during squeegeeing, the amount of movement of the backing plate is made constant according to the thickness of the material. It is intended to provide a rational means by which this can be done quickly and easily.

"Means for Solving the Problem" In order to solve the above problems, this proposal includes a support plate support member that supports the patch plate below the patch plate, is rotatable, and is itself movable up and down. In addition, a plurality of engagement grooves having predetermined depths that differ depending on the thickness of the material are bored in the caul plate support member, and the engagement grooves of the caul plate support member are set to a predetermined height. The solution is to engage with a set reference member.

In addition, here we will explain in detail the case where the movement of the patch plate is achieved by movement of the printing table.
Of course, the application of the present invention is not necessarily limited to this structure, but the backing plate moves independently from the printing table to make its surface flush with the material surface. If necessary, the amount of movement of the caul plate to make the surface flush with the surface of the material is determined by the caul plate support member that supports the caul plate. That's fine.

A belt 2 for conveying the material M is provided in the groove 1a of the printing table 1, and a stopper pin P for positioning the material M in the traveling direction is retractably provided at an appropriate position in the traveling direction of the material M. The printing table 1 is positioned below the surface of the belt 2 when the material M is carried in and positioned, and rises above the surface of the belt 2 during the printing process.

A movable plate 3 that is movable relative to the material M on the printing table 1 and a patch plate 4 that does not move are positioned at a position perpendicular to the direction of movement of the material M, sandwiching the material M therebetween, and positioning the material M in the direction of movement. The end face M' of the material M that has been completely moved is brought into contact with the backing plate 4 by the movement of the moving plate 3, and its position in the perpendicular direction is specified. At this time, the backing plate 4 is naturally positioned above the surface of the material M on the printing table 1.

It is positioned so as to protrude from the surface. Further, the backing plate 4 can be moved in the vertical direction (in the direction of arrow a), and can be moved upward (toward the surface of the printing table 1) by moving the backing plate 4 through the backing plate support member 6. As the printing table 1 moves upward, the printing table 1 moves downward while contacting the backing plate support member 6, and eventually, the above-mentioned support shaft 4a comes into contact with the stopper member 5. contact and stop its downward movement. When the downward movement of the backing plate 4 stops, the printing table 1 continues to descend until the backing plate 4 protrudes from the surface of the printing table 1 as described above. Since the support shaft 4a is loosely fitted into the support frame 7 fixed to the support frame 7, the downward movement of the printing table 1 is not hindered.

6 is a patch plate support member that supports the patch plate 4 as described above, but it directly supports the leg portion 4b of the patch plate 4.
It comes into contact with and supports it, and is rotatable in 360 degrees. That is, the backing plate support member 6 is rotatable by loosely fitting the support member 6a into the above-mentioned support frame 7 fixed to the printing table 1, and the support member 6 is attached at the lower end thereof.
A resilient member S is interposed between the body and the body a to make it movable up and down.

Further, a plurality of engagement grooves 6b having different depths are bored in the backing plate support member 6, and each engagement groove 6b engages with the reference member 8 fixed to the support frame 7 mentioned above. . The depth of each engagement groove 6b of the backing plate support member 6 is set to a predetermined depth depending on the thickness of the material M. The thickness of the material M to be screen printed is usually 5 mm in the range of 0.5 mm to 1.6 mm.
Although it is divided into stages, the depth of the aforementioned engaging groove 6b is set according to the thickness of this material M. That is, the depth of the engagement groove 6b is set at a constant height with respect to the fixed reference member 8, and by engaging with the reference member 8, the amount of upward movement of the cover plate 4 after the positioning process is constant. Even if it is, the surface is set to be the same plane as the surface of each material M having a different plate thickness.

Now, when the positioning process in the direction perpendicular to the direction of movement of the material M is completed, the printing table 1 receives power from a drive source (not shown) via a sensor (not shown) that detects the completion state of this positioning. Rise. As the printing table 1 rises, the patch plate support member 6, which moves integrally with the support frame 7, rises and eventually comes into contact with the patch plate 4, causing it to rise. Since the predetermined engagement groove 6b corresponding to the thickness of the material M to be printed is engaged with the fixed reference member 8, the backing plate 4 moves upward by an appropriate amount, that is, the printing table The amount of movement is sufficient to maintain the state in which the surface of the material M on 1 and the surface of the backing plate 4 are on the same plane.

Next, when printing materials M of different thicknesses, it is only necessary to engage the engagement groove 6b with a depth set in advance according to the thickness of the material M with the above-mentioned fixed reference member 8. By doing so, the troublesomeness of adjusting the amount of movement of the backing plate 4 for each printing process for materials of different thicknesses is eliminated, and the required loss time in the continuous automatic printing process is drastically reduced. Note that it is convenient for handling if a specific mark is added to each engagement groove 6b of the backing plate support member 6 according to the thickness of the material M, and if the shape is circular, The engagement groove 6b having a depth corresponding to the thickness of the material M can be set on its circumference, which contributes to miniaturization of the backing plate support member 6 and allows the engagement groove 6b to have a desired depth. It has the advantage that selection can be made easily.

Furthermore, in the present invention, after the screen printing process is completed and the material M is transported to the next process, the screen plate 9 again performs an opening angle movement via the sensor, and then the backing plate 4 moves to the printing table 1. Of course, by descending, it returns to the state protruding from the surface of the printing table 1.

"Effect of the invention" Since the present invention has the above-mentioned configuration, adjusting the amount of movement of the caul plate in the printing process for each group of materials with different thicknesses allows the caul plate support member to adapt to the elastic force of the elastic member. This is a series of printing processes that can be performed continuously and automatically, by simply lifting up against the resistance and rotating it to engage the desired engagement groove with the fixed reference member. It has become possible to drastically reduce loss time.
