When carrying out construction work with a power outage, short-circuit the wires between each other to prevent electrical shocks caused by accidentally operating the power circuit and transmitting power. If the unit is grounded to the earth and power is transmitted due to the above-mentioned erroneous operation, the power transmission will be detected by an overcurrent relay or ground fault overcurrent relay, and an automatic disconnector installed in the power supply will be activated.
Short-circuit grounding tools are used to prevent electric shock accidents.

Conventional tools of this kind come in various shapes, but most of them have a screw-tight electrode structure, and the jaws move up and down to tighten the wire or copper strip, making them complicated to operate and heavy. For this reason, alligator clip types are used in small substations and electrical circuits.

In the above-mentioned conventional alligator clip type short-circuit grounding tool, since the distance between the conductors is narrow, generally 90 mm to 130 mm, the conductors cannot be held at right angles and clipped.
Since the conductor 17 had to be clipped diagonally to the conductor 17, there was a problem in that a reliable contact state could not be obtained.

If you try to use a clip like the one described in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 62-2168 instead of the above conventional tool between conductors that are closely spaced as above,
Since the clamping parts protrude sideways from the tip of the clip on both sides, when one clamping part is clamping one of the adjacent conductors, the clamping part on the opposite side touches the other conductor and does not interfere with the clamping. Therefore, it is useless.

The present invention not only solves the above-mentioned conventional problems, but also aims to provide a clip that can be conveniently used as a tool for charging automobile batteries and other energizing tools.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be explained in detail based on FIGS. 1 to 5. Reference numerals 1 and 2 refer to alligator clip portions connected to each other via a shaft 3 so that they can be opened and closed; a conductor holding part that projects laterally and in a direction parallel to the axis 3;
6 and 7 are insulating grip parts fixed to the base ends of the clip parts 1 and 2; 8 is a spring suspended so that the conductor holding parts 4 and 5 of the clip parts 1 and 2 are always closed; and 9 is a spring that is suspended from the clip parts 1 and 2. The cord is connected to be electrically conductive, and the clamping parts 4 and 5 are connected so as to hang downward with the conductor clamped therebetween.

The current-carrying clip having the above-mentioned structure grips the insulating grip parts 6, 7 with a force that overcomes the elasticity of the spring 8, opens the conductor holding parts 4, 5, and then opens the conductor holding parts 4, 5 from the side of the conductor 10 as shown in FIG. When the conductor 10 is sandwiched between the conductor holding parts 4 and 5, and the insulating grip parts 6 and 7 are loosened,
The elastic force of the spring 8 acts to cause the conductor clamping parts 4 and 5 to firmly clamp the conductor 10.

The insulating grips 6, 7 are provided with flanges 11, 12, so that even if the clip accidentally touches a conductor during high-voltage charging, the hand holding the insulating grips 6, 7 will be protected by the flanges 11, 12. 12 eliminates the need to touch the conductor, increasing safety, and as shown in Figure 4, an alligator clip part 13 used for high voltage systems
The insulating clip portion 14 is colored red,
The insulating grip portion 16 of the grounding alligator clip portion 15 is colored green to prevent misuse of the high voltage side and ground side clips, thereby increasing safety.

As mentioned above, the present invention has a conductor clamping part that protrudes laterally on one side from the tip of the alligator clip part and in a direction parallel to the axis that connects the clip part in an openable and closable manner, so that the intervals between the various conductors are reduced. Even in narrow spaces, the conductor clamping part can be inserted smoothly between the conductors, and each conductor can be firmly clipped from the right angle direction while the cord is facing downward. It has the advantage of being easy to perform and ensuring reliable contact.
