時巻掛け伝動機構８で連動連結し、調時巻掛け伝
動機構８の伝動帯９の中間高さ部に伝動帯９のテ
ンシヨン装置１０を設け、調時巻掛け伝動ケース５は、上側ケース部分１
１と下側ケース部分１２とを上下から突合せた上
下二分割形構造にし、上側ケース部分１１をエン
ジン本体から取り外した状態では、動弁カム軸７
の入力輪１３及びテンシヨン装置１０が外部に露
出する状態となるように構成したエンジンの動弁
カム軸の調時巻掛け伝動装置において、上側ケース部分１１と下側ケース部分１２との
突合せ部のケース分割面１４を一直線状に形成し
