[Detailed description of the invention] This invention allows the optical fiber cord of the optical fiber connection box body 1 to be stably fixed and supported without receiving lateral pressure or being cut even when external tension is applied to the optical fiber cord. The present invention relates to an optical fiber cord fixing device for an optical fiber junction box, which is characterized in that it does not cause microbending loss during optical transmission.

Conventionally, this kind of optical fiber junction box exists, but when the exposed optical fiber core in the junction box, that is, the excess length processing section, is pulled from the outside, the tension is not permissible in the extra length processing section of the cord. There is no problem because the circle is formed with a radius greater than the bending radius, but if the cord is pulled from the outside at the cord retention part, lateral pressure will be applied.
There is no good means to deal with the excess length and prevent problems such as microbending caused by cutting or lateral pressure, and there is a drawback that problems such as microbending occur.

Incidentally, a method such as Utility Model Application No. 53-132353 is also disclosed, but it is nothing but a connection device, and the surplus length processing section in the optical fiber connection box is affected by external tension, etc. In this case, there is no effect of preventing cutting or stress generation.

Furthermore, a device such as Utility Model Application Publication No. 57-175106 will be disclosed, but this is also only a connection box for a single optical fiber connection section, and the exposed optical fiber surplus length processing section in the connection box is not covered. However, when an external tension is applied, there is no structure or function to prevent problems such as fiber breakage or occurrence of stress phenomena due to lateral pressure. However, in the main case,
A highly flexible rubber material such as neoprene rubber is used for the optical fiber cord lead-in part on the side wall portion 2 of the junction box, the optical fiber cord is placed on top of the rubber material, and a pressing plate with rubber-like elasticity is placed on top of the optical fiber cord. By tightening the fiber optic fiber cord, the optical fiber cord is immovably fixed at that part, and the traction force from outside the junction box does not reach the extra length processing part, so this part will not be cut by external tension or lateral pressure due to sliding will occur. Therefore, defects such as microbending can be prevented. Now, detailed description will be given of the attached drawings showing an example of implementation of the present invention.

The present invention has the above-mentioned structure, and when using this, the optical fiber cords 4, 4 are placed on the rubber plate 8, and the pressing plate 9 is further covered thereon. Screws 10, 1 inserted on both sides
0, the presser plate 9 is tightened and fixed onto the rubber plate 8. In this way, even if the optical fiber cord 4 is pulled from the outside of the junction box, the extra length processing parts 5, 5 of the optical fiber are held back by the fixing action, and the tension is applied to the internal exposed state. The optical fiber processing section is not affected, the exposed surplus length processing section is not affected by the traction, and there is no problem such as cutting or microbending of the section, which is extremely noticeable. It is effective.
