A method of manufacturing a printed wiring board having a desired electric circuit by using a copper-clad laminate for printed circuits, forming a resist pattern thereon, then performing an etching treatment, and then removing the resist pattern. was the mainstream. However, in this method, the manufacturing process of the printed wiring board and the process of forming the resist pattern for forming the electric circuit are separate processes, and after the electric circuit is formed, holes and chamfering are required to attach the circuit components. , which required complicated mechanical processing such as punching or contour processing.

According to this method, the printed wiring board can be formed into a desired shape in advance, so
There is almost no need for complicated mechanical processing such as drilling, chamfering, punching, or contour processing after the electric circuit is formed, and even substrates with complex shapes can be manufactured easily and at low cost. In the future, it will also be possible to produce three-dimensional boards with tight tolerances, including protrusions for supporting and collectively mounting circuit components, stepped contact pads, wiring outlines, connector housings, etc. It is something.

Therefore, not only is this process of forming an electric circuit complicated, but it is also technically difficult to form an electric circuit on a substrate having a three-dimensional shape.

方法である。 In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present inventors conducted various research aimed at obtaining a method for efficiently manufacturing printed wiring boards, especially printed wiring boards exhibiting a three-dimensional shape, through easy steps. This has led to the completion of the present invention. That is, in the present invention, a transfer sheet in which a resist pattern for forming an electric circuit is formed on a removable base sheet is placed in an injection mold, and then a molten heat-resistant thermoplastic resin is poured into the mold. The resist pattern for forming an electric circuit is provided on the molded substrate by injection into a mold, and then the base sheet is peeled off,
The method for manufacturing a printed wiring board is characterized in that an electric circuit is then formed on the substrate by plating.
以下、本発明について詳細に説明する。 The present invention will be explained in detail below.

It is formed using an ink that is easily peeled off from the substrate together with the plating material. Therefore, the shape of the resist pattern is formed to be a negative pattern of the electric circuit pattern to be formed. The binder used for the former ink includes, for example, a vinyl resin, and the binder used for the latter ink includes the solvent used during solvent cleaning after plating treatment or alkaline cleaning, or alkali-soluble or swelling resin. There is a resin that does this. Methods for forming resist patterns for forming electric circuits include screen printing, offset printing, gravure printing, etc. The layer thickness is approximately 1 to 10 μm in the former case, and 2 to 5 μm in the latter case.
It is preferable to form it so that it has a certain degree.

The resin that can be used in the present invention is a thermoplastic resin that has sufficient heat resistance and dielectric properties, and for example, polysulfone, polyethersulfone, polyetherimide, etc. can be used. These resins have extremely superior temperature and dielectric properties compared to conventionally commonly used glass-epoxy laminates, especially at continuous use temperatures.
It has a temperature of 150°C or higher, low dielectric loss tangent and dielectric constant, and is almost constant in normal temperature and frequency ranges. In addition, the insulation resistance is high even after long-term use, and it exhibits a high resistance value against CAF growth (conductive anode fiber growth). Note that fillers or additives such as glass fiber, talc, and titanium oxide may be added to these resins as appropriate in order to adjust the properties of the materials.
