DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a disc-shaped record carrier in which main information such as audio information or video information is recorded in the form of information units with addresses assigned in substantially concentric tracks, The purpose of this is to display the contents of the main information recorded on the disc-shaped record carrier or to cue the desired main information in a disc-shaped record carrier reproducing device that reproduces the disc-shaped record carrier. Information and other necessary items are recorded in one place, read and memorized first during playback, and then the stored information can be used to easily cue the desired main information, display the contents, etc. Another object of the present invention is to provide a disk-shaped record carrier that can be quickly processed.

Generally, disc-shaped record carriers on which audio information is digitally recorded are well known, and FIG. 1a shows the recording form of the recorded information. First, synchronization signals 1 and 2 necessary for reproducing signals at correct timing are recorded at a constant cycle. If we call the section from one synchronization signal to the next synchronization signal a block, in this block, in addition to parts 3 and 4 indicating audio information, address signals 5 and 6 for distinguishing the blocks are recorded. There is. In addition, when displaying the song list, etc., it is recorded in addition to this address signal portion.
As another conventional example, as shown in FIG. signals 13 and 1 for distinguishing frames and displaying track numbers;
8 is recorded, and audio information 14, 15, 16, and 17 are recorded in the other blocks. Next, FIG. 2 shows an example of the configuration of a disc-shaped record carrier reading device for reproducing a disc-shaped record carrier having the recording format as shown in FIG. A signal 21 a from the record carrier 21 is read by a reading device 22 and subjected to waveform shaping, and its output signal 22 a is input to a demodulation circuit 23 .
The demodulation circuit 23 demodulates this input signal 22a into a so-called digital signal 23a. Next, a signal indicating audio information out of this digital signal 23a is further input to a signal processing circuit 24 to obtain a desired audio signal 24a. On the other hand, among the digital signals 23a, signals indicating address information and track display information are input to the control circuit 25. Here, an address signal 27a indicating the beginning of a desired song is input from the user 27 to the control circuit 25. The control circuit 25 receives the digital signal 23 from the demodulation circuit 23.
Read the address of the part currently being played from a, and use this address and the address signal 2 from the user.
7a, and outputs a first control signal 25a to the reading device 22 to reproduce the desired song. When the desired song is played back, the control circuit 25 reads the song display information from the digital signal 23a and outputs a second control signal 25b to the drive circuit 26 of the display device 28. The display signal 28 is the drive circuit 26
The track number will be displayed by the drive signal 26a from the. Here, the address signal 27a from the user 27 is usually a 4- to 5-digit decimal number. Therefore, in order to play a desired song, the user must accurately specify a four or five digit number. Furthermore, the user must know in advance the address of the beginning of the desired song. Furthermore, it is very difficult for the user to specify a 4-digit or 5-digit address to locate the beginning of a desired song on a disk-shaped record carrier that records only a few songs or more than a dozen songs. It's inconvenient.

Conversely, when the user searches for the beginning of a song by specifying only the order of the desired song, the user must search from the first song onwards, since only the order of the desired song is available. Therefore, the last song takes a lot of time. On the other hand, regarding the track list display, the track display information for one song is divided into several blocks or frames and input periodically, so these can be memorized each time, and all the information for one song can be input. It will be displayed at the time. This operation has to be performed in parallel with the operation of reading the address signal of the portion currently being reproduced and the operation of performing arithmetic comparison, which has the disadvantage that the operation timing of the control circuit 25 becomes complicated.

Therefore, in the present invention, in order to eliminate the above-mentioned problems, the number and order of each song and the address of the beginning of each song are set at the beginning of the disc-shaped record carrier when it is played back, e.g. When the information is reproduced from the outer circumference toward the inner circumference, it is recorded on the outermost circumference of the information track, and when it is reproduced from the inner circumference toward the outer circumference, it is recorded on the innermost circumference of the information track.
An embodiment of the invention is shown in FIG. FIG. 3 shows an example of a signal recording format.

Periodic synchronization signals 31, 32, 33, 34 and an identification signal 35 for identifying whether the content in each block is address information for finding the beginning of a song, track display information, or audio information. ,
There are 36, 37, and 38. At the time of playback, a block containing a song order signal 39 indicating the song order, address information 40 indicating the address of the beginning of the song, and track display information 41 of the song is the number of songs recorded on the record carrier. The amount will be sent to you. At this time, it is identified by the identification signal 35 that the information represents the song order number 39, address information 40, and song information 41. Thereafter, a block containing address signals 42, 43 for each block sends audio information 44. At this time, the identification signal 37 identifies that there is audio information 44 subordinate to the address signal 42. In FIG.
It is also possible to compress and record the identification signal 35 and song order signal 39. An example of the configuration of the reading device is shown in FIG.

the desired audio signal 24a from the record carrier 21;
The configuration of the part that reproduces is almost the same as in FIG. The digital signal 23a that is first output from the demodulation circuit 23 after starting reproduction of the record carrier 21 is identified from the identification signal, and the address information for finding the beginning of the song and the song display information are made to correspond to the song order signal. The information is sequentially stored in the storage device 51. In the control circuit 52, according to the address signal 54a from the user 54,
The control circuit 52a is generated and thereby the storage device 51
A readout signal 51a containing desired address information and track display information is obtained from. Then, as in FIG. 2, the address signal currently being reproduced and the address information of the read signal 51a are calculated and compared, and a control signal 52b is output to the reading device 22. When the desired address is detected, a control signal 52c containing track display information is output to the display device drive circuit 53, and the track is displayed on the display device 5.
Display in 5. In this way, by first storing the address information for locating the beginning of a song and the program display information in correspondence with the song order, the operation of locating the beginning of a desired song and the operation of displaying the program are performed in parallel. The operation of the control circuit becomes simpler because there is no need to perform the same operation. In addition, since the address signal from the user is only one indicating the order of the songs and is one or two digits, the interface circuit between the control circuit and the user is also simplified.

Furthermore, even if the address signal from the user is a simple one that only indicates the order of the songs, accurate and detailed address information for cueing can be obtained from the storage device, so it is possible to find the beginning of the desired song. You can quickly search nearby areas.

Therefore, the time required for accurate cueing is also shorter than before. Furthermore, the content recorded on this disc-shaped record carrier can be easily understood by simply reproducing the first part of the information track. These circuits are
Of course, it can be assembled discretely, but if a microcomputer is used for system control of the entire reading device, for example, there is almost no temporal parallel processing, making the program simpler than before. In the above embodiment, a disk-shaped record carrier is described in which audio information is recorded in the form of information units to which addresses are assigned in substantially concentric tracks, but there are also other ways in which video information is recorded in information units to which addresses are assigned. It goes without saying that the same method can be applied to files recorded in this format.

As described above, according to the present invention, information for displaying the contents of the main information and information for cueing the main information are collectively recorded in the first part of the information track to be played back. The address search for displaying the contents of a message is simple and quick. Further, since the main information and the address information necessary for displaying the contents or cueing the main information can be easily distinguished by the identification signal, it is possible to provide a disk-shaped record carrier with fewer errors in reading the information signal.
