Description
〈産業上の利用分野〉
本発明はV・T・R等の音声信号用消去ヘツド
において、消去ヘツドを構成するケース本体と、
ヘツド部のテープ摺接面をプラスチツクス、無機
質フイラー及びガラス繊維等の基本構成材料を成
形材料として一体成形してなる磁気ヘツドに関す
るものである。
〈従来技術〉
従来、磁気ヘツドは第1図に示すように、コイ
ル、フロントコア及びパツクコアからなるヘツド
部1を組込むケース本体2に裏面側から挿入され
るよう嵌合部2aが形成され、ヘツド部1のフロ
ントコア1aの先端がケース本体2のテープ摺接
面2bに正確に位置決めされるように、ケース本
体2のテープ摺接面2b側にセラミツク或いは無
機質フイラー入り成形材料からなるフロントブロ
ツク3が一体的に埋設されており、ヘツド部1を
組込んで内部モールドを施した後、テープ摺接面
2bを所定の円弧状に研磨加工して第2図に示す
ような磁気ヘツドが製造されていた。
しかしながら、上記フロントブロツク3には、
帯電防止剤等が添加されていないので、かなり絶
縁性が高いものであり、磁気テープとテープ摺接
面の摩擦により静電気が発生して、磁気テープの
テープ走行が円滑に行なわれなくなり、延いては
雑音の原因になつていた。特に上記フロントブロ
ツク3の成形材料は絶縁性が高いほど帯電量が多
く、面積抵抗値〔Ω/cm2〕も大きくなり、一定値
以上の帯電量になると放電して雑音を増大させる
欠点があつた。
〈問題点を解決するための手段〉
本発明は、上述した従来の欠点を解決するため
になされたものであり、消去ヘツドケース本体が
テープ摺接面を有しかつプラスチツク、無機質フ
イラー及びガラス繊維の基本構成材料を形成材料
として一体成形して造られており、上記プラスチ
ツクと無機質フイラーとの比が35/65〜1であつ
て、これらの合計重量に対して上記ガラス繊維が
5〜10重量%であることを特徴とする磁気ヘツド
を提供するものである。
プラスチツクと無機質フイラーとの比を35/65
以上とすることによつて、電気抵抗を減じて帯電
量が500V以下にすることができ、比を1以上に
することはプラスチツク量が多くなり、耐摩耗性
が低下して好ましくない。
無機質フイラーの添加は抵抗強度の低下およ
び、場合によつては、該フイラーの入つている所
から粒塊脱落を招くことがあり、ガラス繊維を少
なくとも5重量%添加することでガラス繊維が微
細な網目となつて無機質フイラーを保持して、こ
れらの不利益を回避することが出来る。一方、ガ
ラス繊維を10重量%以上添加すると、ガラス繊維
とプラスチツクとの分散性が悪くなつて、面粗度
が悪くなる。
〈発明の実施例〉
以下、本発明による実施例を第3図ないし第4
図及び実験データを参照して具体的に説明する。
第3図は本発明による磁気ヘツドの斜視図であ
り、10はテープ摺接面と一体に成形されたケー
ス本体、11はヘツド部のフロントコア、12は
ギヤツプ、13はモールド樹脂である。
上記ケース10は、基本構成材料がプラスチツ
クス(例えばナイロン、ポリフエニレンサルフア
イド、ポリプチレンテレフタレート、ABS樹脂
等)、無機質フイラー(例えばアルミナ、炭酸カ
ルシウム、石英ガラス等)、ガラス繊維の成形材
料から成り、上記プラスチツク/無機質フイラー
は35/65以上になるようにしたものである(次
頁、表1での試供品No.1およびNo.2)。
その他の例を含めた実施例を表1に示す。

機質フイラー及びガラス繊維の基本構成材料で成
形して造り、プラスチツクと無機質フイラーとの
比を35/65〜1にし、ガラス繊維を5〜10重量%
にしてなるものであり、テープ摺接面の帯電量が
少なくなり、磁気テープの走行を円滑にし、雑音
の発生を防止し、消去ヘツドの性能を向上させる
