[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Industrial Application Field] This invention relates to a voice recognition telephone that recognizes sounds such as telephone numbers and keywords uttered by a speaker and connects to a telephone line. [Prior Art] Conventionally, as this type of voice recognition telephone, for example, a telephone with the model name FF-70AI from Toshiba has been commercially available;
The external view is shown in the figure. In the figure, l is the handset, 2 is the phone body, and 3 is the operation panel. FIG. 4 shows a plan view of the operation panel 3, and 4 indicates IN USA! which indicates that the telephone is in use. Lamp 5 indicates VOIC! which indicates that voice input can be accepted. ! Lamp, 6 is an OK lamp that indicates that voice input has been accepted, 7
is the NG lamp indicating that the voice input was not accepted, and 8 is the N[! It is an XT switch. Next, we will explain the operation. A plurality of words are registered in the telephone body 2, and a telephone number is stored corresponding to each word. Registering words and changing stored telephone numbers are also performed on the operation panel 3, but since these operations are not directly related to the present invention, their explanation will be omitted. Now, when the operator picks up the receiver 1 to make a call, the IN usE lamp 4 on the operation panel 3 lights up, and at the same time the VOTCE lamp 5 lights up, indicating that voice input can be accepted. When a user speaks into the receiver 1 in this state, the voice recognition device built into the telephone body 2 interprets the content of the voice. Note that if the voice recognition device does not accept the voice due to external noise, etc., or if you utter a word that is different from the registered word, the NG lamp 7 will light up, so speak again into the receiver 1, and the voice recognition device will recognize the voice. When it is accepted, OK lamp 6 lights up. In this way, the speech recognition device determines. The registered words that are determined to match the content entered are voiced back to the operator via the handset 1. If the operator listens to this and agrees with the pronunciation, all he has to do is wait and dial the phone number that corresponds to the registered word. If the voice fed back is different from the uttered content due to misrecognition, etc., operating the NEWT switch 8 will feed back a different registered word. If this is the same as what you said, wait for it to be dialed, and if it is different, repeat N[! Operate XT switch 8. Repeat this operation a specified number of times, and if the contents do not match,
Hang up the phone and repeat the above steps from the beginning. [Problems to be Solved by the Invention] Since conventional voice recognition telephones are configured as described above, the operator has to confirm the received content by voice from the handset. If the string of characters written by hand, such as a number, is relatively long, it takes time to perform the i1 verification process, and in a noisy environment, it is easy to mishear or miss something, leading to line connection problems. was there. Furthermore, since the line connection is started without waiting for the speaker's response, there is also the problem that the system performs operations contrary to the intended purpose. This invention was made to solve the above-mentioned problems, and it is possible to quickly and accurately confirm the contents of voice input, and also to connect the line faithfully to the speaker's intention with simple operations. The purpose is to obtain a voice recognition telephone. [Means for Solving the Problems] A voice recognition telephone according to the present invention includes a receiver comprising a microphone that converts the voice of a speaker into an electrical signal and a speaker that converts the electrical signal into voice, and a voice recognition telephone that receives input from the microphone. a voice recognition device that interprets the content of the voice; a line connection device that connects the telephone line to the telephone line in accordance with the content that the voice recognition device interprets; and a line connection device that connects the telephone to the telephone line and simultaneously connects the microphone voice signal switching means for switching the voice from the voice recognition device to the telephone line, and the voice recognition device! ! ! a character display for displaying the recognized content; a first switch mechanism installed integrally with the handset and generating a signal for activating the line connection means; and a first switch mechanism installed integrally with the handset and said voice recognition device. and a second switch mechanism that generates a signal to initialize the voice judgment operation. [Function] In this invention, the contents inputted by the speaker by voice can be displayed on the character display, so the contents can be immediately confirmed by looking at the display, and if the confirmed contents are correct, the dial operation can be performed by pressing the receiver. You can easily activate the phone while holding it, and you can also easily cancel the operation if it is incorrect while holding the handset. FIG. 2 shows a block diagram of the voice recognition telephone, in which 12 is a microphone that converts the speaker's voice into an electrical signal, 17 is a speaker that converts the electrical signal from the telephone line 18 into voice, and 14 is a voice recognition phone. Equipment, 15 is the phone number! A line connecting device 13 connected to the microphone 1B is a changeover switch that switches the electrical signal from the microphone 12 to the voice recognition device 14 and the line connecting device 15. Next, the operation of the voice recognition telephone according to this invention will be explained. First, when the speaker picks up the receiver 1, the changeover switch 13 connects the voice signal from the microphone 12 to the voice recognition device 14, and the voice recognition device 14 enters a state of waiting for input. In this state, when the speaker pronounces the digits of the telephone number of the destination, the voice recognition device 14 interprets the digits through the microphone 12 and displays the contents on the character display 9. When the speaker looks at the content displayed on the character display 9 and determines that the content has been correctly recognized, he presses the confirmation switch 10, and the signal becomes a voice! ! ! The information is transmitted to the recognition device 14. Thereafter, the speech recognition device 14 switches the changeover switch 13 to the line connection device 215 side, and sends the recognized content to the line connection device 15. Then, the line connection device 15 transfers the received contents to the telephone line 1.
Send to 8. This line connection operation is performed by push-button telephones, which are currently widely used. By the way, if the speaker determines that the content displayed on the character display 9 is different from the content input by voice, he or she presses the cancel switch 1. With this, voice! ! identification device 14
cancels the content that had been accepted up to that point, erases the display content displayed on the character display 9, and returns to the input waiting state. Furthermore, if the speaker wants to try to make a call again, he or she can simply say the other party's phone number anew, and if he or she wants to end the call, he or she can simply hang up the receiver. In the above embodiment, the telephone number of the other party to be called is directly input by voice, but the voice recognition device 14 or the line connection device Wl5
It has a storage device attached to it, and if the data for this device is stored, it is easy to have a speed dial function that retrieves the corresponding telephone number from the storage device and connects the line by uttering a short keyword. Further, as the character display device 9, electronic display elements widely used at present, such as liquid crystals, LEDs, and fluorescent display tubes, can be used. Further, although the confirm switch 10 and the cancel switch 11 are arranged on the side of the handset 1, they may be provided at a position where they are easy to operate, such as on the transmitting/receiving side of the handset. [Effects of the Invention] As explained above, according to the present invention, the first switch mechanism has a character display that displays the content recognized by the voice recognition device, and activates the line connection operation in accordance with the recognized content. Since the handset is equipped with a second switch mechanism that cancels the recognized content, the voice input content can be displayed on the character display, allowing for prompt and accurate confirmation. Furthermore, the VA connection operation is simple and can faithfully carry out the speaker's intention.
