ある。6は水槽であり、その内部にて衣類の洗濯
作用を行い、かつ高速回転させて脱水作用を行
う。この時、水槽6内部に衣類が均一に分布する
ことはまれであり、不均一分布をなしたまま脱水
作用を行うことになる。この衣類の不均一は、回
転物のアンバランスとなり、振動を発生させるも
のである。今支持杆3およびサスペンシヨン4等
の防振系にて支持された構造を振動系と称する。
この振動系および防振系にて必然的に構成される
ものに固有振動数というものがある。もし、脱水
時、振動系の生ずる振動数と、前記固有振動数が
合致した場合は、振動系の振幅は極めて大きくな
り、例えば上下にはね上つたり本体1に衝突した
り、あるいは回転軸が危険速度時の破損を招くと
いう、通常共振点と称する状態になる。これを防
振するためには減衰機構によつて振幅を押えねば
ならない。

め、コストが極めて高いという欠点があつた。

ては球面体12に線材がまとめて固定されてお
り、この球面体12を介して支持杆3は本体1に
吊り下げられている構造となる。
