Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 産業上の利用分野 本発明は、ケーブルテレビジョン（ＣＡＴＶ）システム
において採用されているスクランブル方式に関係するも
のであって、スクランブルを解除するためのキー信号を
第１の信号から抜き取り第２の信号に挿入するキー信号
変換装置に関するものである。
従来の技術 近年、一般地上波テレビジョン放送によるサービスは、
そのチャンネルが放送帯域の幅によって限定されるため
、昨今の視聴者のニーズの多様化にこたえられない面が
でてきており、ケーブルネットワークを用いたＣＡＴＶ
システムに加入する視聴者が増加しつつある。
現在のＣＡＴＶシステムは、都市型ＣＡＴＶシステムと
呼ばれるシステムが中心としてその市場が拡大しており
、このシステムにおいては、特定契約者のみに対する有
料サービスが実施されている。有料サービスではその秘
話性の高さが課題であり、そのために画像情報にいわゆ
るスクランブルを施している。
さて、ＣＡＴＶシステムにおけるスクランブル方式とし
ては、例えば、特公昭６３−５８５１４号（特開昭５７
−１２１３８５号公報）に開示されたものがある。この
スクランブル方式は、無線周波数画像搬送波における垂
直および水平パルスの振幅を圧縮することによって、デ
イスプレィ装置において同期を得られないようにするも
のであって、そのスクランブル解除（デスクランブル）
のためのＫＥＹデータ及びアドレスデータは、第４図に
示すように音声搬送波に振幅変調技術によって追加した
信号から得るように構成されている。
この公知例１に記載されているスクランブル方式は、同
期圧縮（シンクサプレス）方式と呼ばれている。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 スクランブルされた高周波信号あるいは音声信号を第１
    の入力信号とし、この入力信号を検波して得たテレビジ
    ョン信号あるいは音声信号に追加されているスクランブ
    ルを解除するためのキー信号を抜き取り、この抜き取っ
    たキー信号をスクランブルされていないテレビジョン信
    号に追加するためのＣＡＴＶシステムのキー信号変換装
    置であって、 上記スクランブルされたテレビジョン信号あるいは音声
    信号を入力とし、上記テレビジョン信号の同期信号ある
    いは上記音声中間周波信号に振幅変調によって重畳され
    ている同期信号のタイミングを検知する第１の検知手段
    と、 上記スクランブルされたテレビジョン信号あるいは音声
    中間周波信号を入力とし、上記第１の検知手段の検知し
    た同期信号のタイミングで、上記スクランブルされたテ
    レビジョン信号あるいは音声信号より上記キー信号を抜
    き取るゲート手段と、 上記スクランブルされていないテレビジョン信号を入力
    とし、その同期信号のタイミングを検知する第２の検知
    手段と、 上記第２の検知手段の検知したタイミングにもとづいて
    、上記ゲート手段で抜き取ったキー信号を上記スクラン
    ブルされていないテレビジョン信号の垂直帰線期間の所
    定の水平期間に重畳するインサート手段と、 を備えたＣＡＴＶシステムのキー信号変換装置。
