Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to form interior finishing material, in which no wrinkle and the like develops and which has excellent external appearance, by a method wherein connecting part under un-formed state is made at the terminal part of each base material part at molding and skin materials are respectively joined to a plurality of the base material parts and finally the connecting parts under un-formed state of the base material parts are joined together by forming. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of base material parts 33a and 33b are made by molding out of resin felt 35, which is divided in a plurality of parts. Next, connecting part 37 under un-formed state is made at the terminal part of each one of the base material parts 33a and 33b at the molding of said parts. Skin materials 32a and 32b, which are different in material or in color from the parts 33a and 33b, are joined to a plurality of the dividedly formed base material parts 33a and 33b. Next, by joining the connecting parts under un-formed state of the terminal parts of the base material parts 33a and 33b by forming, an interior finishing base material 31 is produced. Thus, the joining of the skin materials 32a and 32b and the connection of the base material parts 33a and 33b are easily performed, resulting in allowing to produce the interior finishing material 31, in which no wrinkle and the like develops and which has excellent external appearance.

BACKGROUND ART Conventionally, molded ceilings, door trims, trunk trims, etc. have existed as interior materials for vehicles, etc., and it is known that resin felt is used as the interior base material of these interior materials. As shown in FIG. 6, the resin felt 5 for forming the interior base material 2 is inserted into a hot press mold 12 consisting of a lower mold 13 and an upper mold 14, and heated to a desired shape by heating for about 60 seconds at 220"C1. Then, the upper mold 14 is opened, the end 2a of the interior base material 2 made of the resin felt 5 is pressed into the product shape, and then the temperature of the lower mold 13 of the hot press mold 12 is adjusted. Approximately 150°C1
With the temperature of the upper mold 14 lowered to about 130°C, the seventh
As shown in the figure, the skin material 3 is laminated on the surface of the molded interior base material 2 via an adhesive or the like, and the skin material 3 is bonded to the interior base material 2 using an upper mold 14 as shown in FIG. Then, the interior material 1 as a product is formed by terminal processing.
