Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the damage of a picker roller and a separating roller by a foreign material by providing a plurality of bar members for receiving and support a bill from a receiving port, a foreign material discharge part under the bar members, and a bill discharge device for sending out the received bill upward. CONSTITUTION:A bill 1 put into from a shutter 6 laid in opened state is placed on three base shafts 4 and held between a delivery guide 2 and a backup plate 3. A coin and foreign material fall between base shafts 4 along a coin guide 15. Then, the shutter 6 is closed, and the backup plate 3 is closed and slid to the right as the bill 1 is put between. The delivery guide 2 is guided by a delivery guide shaft and motor-moved to the position of a pusher roller 8. The pusher roller 8 and a picker roller 9 are rotated clockwise, and separating rollers 7 are stopped and then reversed to send the bill 1 upward one by one. The foreign material such as coin between bills falls through the base shafts 4.
