Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a packaging case which permits a number of cans to be easily taken out therefrom without causing the deformation of the can by simply processing the side wall of a wrap-round packaging case. CONSTITUTION:A packaging case blank consists of a top panel 4, a side wall part 5, a bottom panel 6 and a side wall part 5 with folding lines formed therebetween as their boundary lines, a joining piece 7 extending from one side wall part 5 for making a joint with the top panel 4, outer flaps 8 extending from the top panel 4 and the bottom panel 6 and inner flaps 9 extending from the side wall parts 5. Both the side wall parts 5 are provided with slits 2 extending perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction of the side wall part 5 and slits 3 extending longitudinally thereof. To take out beverage can from this packaging case, both hands are inserted into the case along the inner walls of the side wall parts 5 to tear open the slits 2 and 3 and uncut parts between the slits and force out the torn parts, so that the hands can be inserted inside.

If the cardboard boxes etc. used to store these beverage cans are for use in the above-mentioned vending machines (vendors), the flap on the top of the box should be
<Rather than an A-type box, cans can be packed more tightly in a so-called sack box style box, where the side flaps of the wrap-round case are opened and the cans inside are taken out.
This is advantageous in that there is less chance of the piles hitting each other due to vibration during transportation. Also, regarding taking out the can,
The A-type box has a wide opening on the top of the storage area, making it easy to take out cans, but you can only take out one can at a time with both hands, whereas with a wrap-around box, you can insert both hands and hold several cans at once. Although it has the advantage of being able to be taken out at any time, it has the disadvantage that it is difficult to insert your hand into the can because it is packed tightly.

In practice, when taking out beverage cans stored in a wrap-around packaging box like the one shown in Figure 8 (a) to be refilled in a vending machine, open the sides of the packaging box with a knife and cant tape 11. Remove the top half of the box to open it as shown in (B), or cut open the flap part with a knife as shown in (C), remove the beverage can, and place it in the column (storage shelf) of the vending machine. They are manually added one by one or several by hand.

However, in order to reduce manufacturing costs and transportation costs, thin plate steel cans, aluminum cans, and the like have recently come to be used as can containers. This change in can containers is particularly inconvenient when trying to remove a can stored in the wrap-round case by opening the side flap and inserting both hands into the box, since the cans are tightly packed. happens. That is, since there is not enough room to put both hands inside the box, there is a problem in that if the user tries to forcefully grab the can, a force exceeding the pressure resistance is applied to the body of the can, causing the can to collapse.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] The present invention solves the above-mentioned problems and makes it possible to easily take out a beverage can without crushing the can when taking it out with both hands by simple processing of the side plate of a wrap-around packaging box. The object of the present invention is to provide a method that can be used in this method and a packaging box that can be used for the method.

[Means for Solving the Problems] The present invention provides a method for opening the side flap of a wrap-around type cardboard packaging box to take out a stored beverage can, in which the packaging box is provided with a liner extending from one liner to the center core. Using a side plate on the opposite side, in which the score line reaching up to the point and/or the score line penetrating the cardboard are discontinuously provided over a wide range in the longitudinal direction, insert both hands along the inner surface of the side plate. , a method for taking out a beverage can from a packaging box, characterized in that the side plate is expanded by pushing the cut line and/or score line of the side plate outward to take out the beverage can.

For example, Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 59-11073 proposes a carton (paperboard box for interior use) with zippers on three sides, and by peeling off the zipper, a large opening is created. It is said that many people can take out items at the same time.

Furthermore, Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 12331/1983 proposes that perforations are provided all around the four side surfaces of a packaging box, and the upper half of the box can be cut away from the perforations and used as a sales stand.

However, these lines of weakness such as zippers and perforations are provided across at least three sides of the box, and are provided for the purpose of fully opening the box by pulling it with your fingers and tearing it away, opening the lid from the opening. In contrast, in order to take out the beverage can of the present invention, the cut lines and/or cut lines provided on the side plate are different from conventional opening zippers whose purpose is to continuously break a part of the side plate by pulling by hand. Differently, when inserting both hands, by pushing the side plate outward with the back side of the hand (instep side), you can break the cut line and push the broken part or the broken part and the cut line part apart, or
Either break the cut line and partially break the part between the cut line (cut line) and the cut line (cut line) and push the broken part or the broken part and the cut line part apart, or ■ Cut line and cut line The purpose is to break a part of the part between the two and push the broken part and the cut line part apart, or to push and spread the cut line part.

Therefore, the position of the cut line and/or score line is only provided on both side plates, and the shape, length, and number of the score line and score line, as well as the depth of the score line, are determined when opening the packaging box. It is not intended to serve the purpose of ``scission line'', and is only intended to be used to remove the part of the area between the score line and score line (cut line) by the pressure of both hands inserted into the inside of the packaging box. It is determined that at least one of them is broken and the broken part is pushed out, or the side plate is not broken but the cut line part is pushed out so that the side plate can expand outward.

A wrap-around packaging box to which the method of removing a beverage can from a cardboard packaging box of the present invention is applied is a conventionally known packaging box shown in a perspective view in FIG. This packaging box consists of a top plate 4, a bottom plate (opposed to the top plate), a side plate 5.5 opposite to the sides, and an outer flap 8 and an inner flap 9 of the side flaps, which also face the end face, and a body seal. A joint piece (not shown) extending from the side plate 5 is joined to the edge of the top plate 4 using an adhesive.

2- In the above four embodiments, examples were shown in which only the score line or only the score line was used as a means for expanding the steel plate outward when both hands were inserted, but a combination of both may be used. Of course, if appearance is important, it is better to use a type of score line that extends from the inner liner to the core.

A feature of the packaging box of the present invention is that a conventional box with weakened lines on the steel plate and flaps no longer functions as a box/container after being opened from the weakened line. In contrast, the packaging box of the present invention maintains its shape as a box even if the upper half of the can is cut, for example, after the cans in the upper half of the box are removed. It has the advantage of being able to store half a can in the box and transporting it to a vending machine location, etc.

[Effects of the Invention] As described above, the present invention relates to beverage cans such as thin steel cans and aluminum cans, which have been increasingly used in recent years, and which are housed in wrap-around cardboard packaging boxes used for refilling cans in vending machines. This is an unprecedented method for taking out beverage cans, in which a large number of cans can be easily held and taken out without crushing the cans when the cans are inserted and taken out with both hands.

The packaging box used in the method for taking out beverage cans of the present invention has a simple process on the side plate of the wrap-around packaging box, so that it can be easily compared without inserting both hands from the side flap side and causing the can to collapse. This packaging box has an unprecedented structure as a wrap-around packaging box for storing beverage cans that can hold and take out a large number of cans.

Furthermore, although the packaging box of the present invention is provided with a score line and/or a perforation line on the side plate, the box is opened wide from the weakened line portion when the package is opened, similar to the weakened line provided for opening the package in the past. Even after a portion of the can is removed from the packaging box of the present invention and the score lines and discontinuous portions are cut, the shape of the box is maintained without losing its shape. For example, leftover cans can be stored in a box and can be transported to another vending machine.
