Abstract

PURPOSE:To reclaim industrial waste as fuel for contribution to the solution of pollution by compounding mainly carbides which are formed by dehydrating, drying and baking a mixture of a specific organic sludge cake and papermaking sludge with combustible oil. CONSTITUTION:An organic sludge cake which is obtained by subjecting living waste water, food industry waste water, etc., to solid/liquid separation followed by dehydration and drying and papermaking sludge discharged from a paper mill are dehydrated, dried and baked to form carbides. The carbides are compounded with combustible oil (e.g. waste oil) to form the principal constituent of the title fuel.

Next, the paper sludge discharged from the paper mill is dehydrated to a water content of about 65% using a dehydrator, and then granulated into particles with a diameter of about 2 to 3 mm, placed in a dryer, and dried at a temperature of about 700°C. Afterwards, it is placed in a rotary kiln and heated at a temperature of about 1300°C to form carbonized papermaking sludge. By granulating it into granules, it is easy to mix with organic sludge, and it becomes easy to adsorb bad odors as a carbonized product.

The organic sludge dehydrated to a water content of about 75% is mixed with carbonized papermaking sludge at a volume ratio of 20 to 30%, kneaded, and formed into pellets with a diameter of 10 mm and a length of about 20 mm using a pellet forming machine. Let it be molded. This pellet made of organic sludge and carbonized paper sludge is placed in a fermentation chamber,
Fermentation is performed for about 10 days while blowing hot air at 70 to 80°C to decompose the organic matter in the organic sludge. This decomposition of organic matter removes bad odors. Furthermore, after the fermentation is completed, cold air is blown for about one week to cool the pellets, and the waste oil is adsorbed onto the cooled pellets.

■0 Effects of the invention As explained above, the fuel of the present invention can be used for urban domestic wastewater,
Organic sludge after wastewater from food processing factories is treated at treatment facilities, and paper sludge discharged from paper factories are dehydrated, dried,
This is a mixture of carbonized papermaking sludge and combustible parts that can be recycled as fuel, and can be recycled as a fuel from organic sludge contained in domestic wastewater and food industry wastewater, as well as from papermaking factories. Paper manufacturing sludge, etc., does not need to be buried in a final disposal site, causing odor or environmental pollution. At the same time, sludge treatment can be done at a low cost by forming fuel using organic sludge, paper manufacturing sludge, etc. as main raw materials. It can also be used as a variety of industrial and agricultural fuels while minimizing environmental pollution, making it possible to simultaneously achieve the prevention of environmental pollution and the effective use of sludge. In particular, by recycling industrial waste as fuel, it becomes possible to save a large amount of costs required for its treatment, and it also makes a great contribution to eliminating pollution.
