Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts by forming a globe box in an instrument panel, combining bearing sections and a lock piece with a handgrip plate of the box, and making an interlocking striker of a part of the panel. The end edge of the instrument panel 1 is formed on the upper end of the lid body 3 as a striker 16, and the interlocking section 14a of the lock piece 14 is interlocked therewith. 詳しくは、グローブボックスの蓋体のロック構造に関す
るものである. b. 従来の技術 第5図は従来における自動車のグローブボックス構造を

に配設されるインストルメントパネル、31はインスト
ルメントパネル30に形成されたグローブボックス(図
示せず)の蓋体である.上述の菫体31の下端はインス
トルメントパネル30に蝶着され、この下端を中心に回
動可能に構威されている.そして、蓋体31の上端縁の
ほぼ中央部分に形成された開口(凹部)32内に、ノブ
カバー33及びロック片34を互いにねじ止めして或る
ロック部材35が配置され、このロック片34が板ばね
36の附勢力にて図外の支軸を中心にロック方向に常時
附勢されている.一方、インストルメントパネル30に
はクランク形状を威すストライカ37かねし止めされて
いる. かくして、ロック片34をストライカ37に係着させる
ことによって蓋体3lを閉蓋状態の下でロックし得ると
共に、これらの間のロックを解除することにより蓋体3
lを開蓋位置に回動してグローブボックスの前面開口を
開放し得るようになっている.C. 発明が解決しよう
とする課題 しかしながら、このような従来のグローブボックス構造
は多数の構或部品を必要とするため、部品点数の多い煩
雑な構造となり、組付作業性が悪く、コスト高になって
しまうといった問題点があった. 本発明は、このような実状に鑑みてなされたものであっ
て、その目的は、部品点数が少なく組付作業性の向上を
図り得ると共に、低コストで済むような自動車のグロー
ブボックス構造を提供することにある. d. 課題を解決するための手段 上述の目的を達威するために、本発明では、(a)  
インストルメントパネルに形成されたグローブボックス
と、 (ロ) 前記グローブボックスの下縁に蝶着された蓋体
と、 (c)  前記蓋体の上端縁に形成された凹部と、(イ
) 前記凹部の側面に設けられた軸体と、(e)  前
記軸体に装着される輔受部及びロック片がそれぞれ一体
威形された手掛け板と、(f)  前記軸体に前記軸受
部が回動自在に装着さ゛れた状態の下で、前記ロック片
をロック方向に常時附勢する附勢手段と、 (8) 前記インストルメントパネルの端縁から或るス
トライカ部と、 をそれぞれ設け、前記附勢手段にて前記ロック片を前記
軸体を中心に回勧附勢して前記ストライカ部に係着した
状,態の下で、前記手掛け板が前記蓋体とほぼ面一に配
直されて前記凹部をカバーするように構成している. 以下、本発明の一実施例に付き第1図〜第3図を参照し
て説明する. 第l図は自動車のインストルメントパネル1を示すもの
であって、このバネル1にはグローブボックス2が形成
されている.そして、グローブボックス2の下面には蓋
体3の下端がヒンジ(図示せず)を介して回動自在に蝶
着されており、この蓋体3にてグローブボックス2の前
面開口が塞がれるようになっている. 第2図に示すように、上述の蓋体3には、その上端縁部
分のほぼ中央箇所に凹部4が形成されており、この凹部
4の両側壁部5a, 5bには互いに同一の線上に沿っ
て延びる一対の軸体6a, 6bが一体威形されている
.そして、凹部4の前面開口に対向する壁部7には、前
記一対の輪体6a, 6b間の箇所に開口8が形成され
ている.さらに、前記壁部7の裏面には、第3図に示す
ように保持片9が一体成形されており、この保持片9と
壁部7とによって形成された収納凹部10内に板ばね1
lの一端11a.が差し込まれて保持されている。

、前記ロック片14の係合部14aが第3図に示すよう
にストライカ部l6に係合されるように構成されている
. 蓋体3を開蓋してグローブボックス2を開放する場合に
は、手掛け[15の下端15aに指を掛けて軸体6a.
 6bを中心に矢印B方向に回動させればよい。これに
伴って、ロック部材12ひいてはロック片l4が仮ばね
l1の附勢力に抗して矢印B方向に回動され、ロック片
l4の係合部14a とストライカ部l6との間の保合
が解除される.これにより、蓋体3の上端がインストル
メントパネル1に対して自由状態となり、蓋体3の下端
のヒンジを中心にして開蓋方向(第1図及び第3図にい
て矢印C方向)に回動され、グローブボックス2の前面
開口が開放される. また、蓋体3を前記ヒンジを中心に矢印C方向とは反対
の方向に回動させると、ロック片14の係合部14aに
形成された傾斜面14bがストライカ部16に当接する
ため、ロック片l4が板ばね11の附勢力に抗して軸体
6a, 6bを中心に矢印B方向に回動され、保合部1
4aがストライカ部l6を相対的に乗り越えてから再び
ロック状I!(閉蓋状態)となる.なおこの状態の下で
は、手掛け板l5が蓋体3とほぼ面一の位置に配され、
凹部4のカバーとなる.このように構或したグローブボ
ックス構造によれば、手掛け板15とロック片14とを
一体威形するようにしたので、部品点数の削減並びにコ
ストダウンを図ることができる.また、インストルメン
トパネルの一部をストライカ部として利用するようにし
たので、ストライカ部材を省略することができ、部品点
数のより一層の削減を図ることができる.さらに、手掛
け板l5は蓋体3と面一となってその凹部4のカバ一部
材としての機能することとなり、蓋体3及びインストル
メントバネルlに同調したデザインにすることができる
.しかも、ロック部材l2の蓋体3への装着は、ロック
部材12を蓋体3の凹部4内に押し込んでロック部材1

を一体或形して或る部材を用いると共に、インストルメ
ントパネル自体の一部をロック片保合用のストライカ部
としたものであるから、部品点数の削減を図ることがで
きて構成の簡単なグローブボックス構造を提供すること
ができる.しかも、手掛け板、ロック片及び軸受部を有
する一体或形品をグローブボックスの蓋体にワンタッチ
で取付けることが可能であり、組付作業の能率向上を図
ることが可能である.また、手掛け板が蓋体とほぼ面一
になるように蓋体の凹部内に配設されるようにしたので
、手掛け板が前記凹部のカバーとしての機能をも果すと
共に、蓋体の外観が調和のとれたデザインとなる.
