Description

【発明の詳細な説明】[Detailed description of the invention]

産業上の利用分野 本発明は、長手方向に太さむらを有するU断面
糸からなる特殊糸の仮撚方法に関するものであ
る。 従来技術 特開昭57−121614号及び特開昭57−121606号公
報に開示されるU断面糸のように、長手方向に太
さむらを有する、即ち配向性の低い部分と配向性
の高い部分を有するフイラメント糸は、独特の風
合及び染色効果を有するものとして近年注目され
ているが、通常の仮撚加工を施すとヒーターの影
響で配向性の低い太い部分が熱劣化を起こし、
1.8g/d以下の弱糸となり、後次工程で種々のト
ラブルを起こし易く、実用性ある加工糸を得るこ
とは困難であつた。例えば、上述の如く実用性あ
る強度が得難いだけでなく、撚糸工程で弱糸部分
がフイラメント切れを起こし、毛羽となり、撚糸
の操業性の低下をきたし、また製品の製織効率を
も下げる。 発明の目的 本発明は、このように長手方向に太さむらを有
するフイラメント糸、特にU断面糸の、操業性に
優れた、強度ある仮撚方法を提供することを目的
とする。 発明の構成 本発明の方法は、長手方向に太さむらを有する
U断面糸からなる特殊糸を仮撚するに当たつて、
当該U断面糸に、気体を吹きつけ、U断面糸を互
いに交絡させ、その後に仮撚加工することを特徴
とする。 即ち、本発明では太・細を有するU断面糸が、
仮撚加工前の気体の吹きつけによつて、互いに交
絡し合い、集束性が高まり、補強し合つて糸条全
体としての強度が上がり、撚糸工程での操業性も
著しく改良されるものである。 実際に、仮撚加工前のU断面糸群に0.5〜3
Kg/cm2程度の圧力で気体を吹きつけるだけで、通
常の仮撚加工を施しても糸の強度は2.8g/d以上
と強くなり、気体を吹きつけない場合の強度に比
較して50%以上も強くなる。撚糸工程での糸切れ
も激減し、撚糸の操業性及び製織効率も著しく改
善される。 実施例 1 ポリエステルタイプのU断面糸180d/48fを表
の条件で仮撚し、仮撚時の操業性及び加工糸の
物性を試験した。その結果を表に示す。
