前記目的を達成するために本発明鎖の製造方法は,前位
鎖環を挟持装置にて摘持すると共に鎖素線をスクリュー
杆にて螺旋状に捲曲し乍ら挟持装置の前方に横方向から
水平に捻進させて其の先端の一巻部を前記の前位鎖環に
絡ませ且つ当該一巻部の終端を挟持装置の前方に同装置
と対向して配した水平方向に作動する可動刃と固定刃と
の間に位置させたのち前記の挟持装置にょる摘持部を解
消して前位鎖環を一巻部に垂下し、再び同挟持装置を摘
持作用状態に為して一巻部を摘持すると共に前記の可動
刃を作動させてー巻部を鎖素線より切離し,この一巻部
を同挟持装置を下方に移動させることによって可動刃の
下方に設けた受部に対応させたのち当該一巻部の両端個
所を水平方向より受部に向って作動する押潰杆にて同受
部に押着してこれを後位鎖環とすると共に挟持装置を上
昇させて当該後位鎖環の両接合部を可動刃と固定刃の上
方に配したプラズマ・スポツ卜溶接機のトーチの前に位
置させ、この位置にかいてプラズマ・スポット溶接機に
より後位鎖環の両端接合部を相互に連結し.然るのち挟
持装置を最初の位置に戻して後位鎖環を上記の前位鎖環
の最初の位置とし、更に上記の工程を続行することによ
って鎖を編上げるようにしたものである。

且つ美麗に仕上げるに極めて好都合であって其の効果が
極めて大であシ、更にロー無しで溶接できるので当該溶
接部には不純物が入ることがなく純金(24K)の場合
には価値の低下を招かない等の好ましい効果を併せて奏
するものである。

る摘持を解消して前位鎖環(1)を一巻部(4)に垂下
し(第3図参照)、次いで同挟持装置(2)を前方に移
行させ乍ら90度捻回し且っ摘持作用状態になして一巻
部(4)を摘持゛(第4図参照)すると共に前記可動刃
(5)を作動させて一巻部(4)を鎖素線(3)から切
離し(第5図参照)、この一巻部(4)を同挟持装置(
2)を下方に移動させることで可動刃(5)の下方に一
体に設けた受部(7)に対応させたのち当該一巻部(4
)の両端(4)’(41 ’ 個所を押圧杆(8)によ
う作動する押潰杆(9)にて同受部(7)に押着(第6
図参照)し、のって一巻部(4)を後位鎖環OGとする
と共に挟持装置(2)を上昇させて当該後位鎖環αOの

可動刃を作動させて一巻部を鎖素線より切離し、この一
巻部を同挟持装置を下方に移動させることによつて可動
刃の下方に設けた受部に対応させたのち当該一巻部の両
端個所を水平方向より受部に向つて作動する押潰杆にて
同受部に押着してこれを後位鎖環とすると共に挟持装置
を上昇させて当該後位鎖環の両接合部を可動刃と固定刃
の上方に配したプラズマ・スポット溶接機のトーチの前
に位置させ、この位置においてプラズマ・スポット溶接
機により後位鎖環の両端接合部を相互に連結し、然るの
ち挟持装置を最初の位置に戻して後位鎖環を上記の前位
鎖環の最初の位置とし、更に上記の工程を続行すること
によつて鎖を編上げるようにしたことを特徴とする鎖の
製造方法。
