Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide an effectiveness in view of a manufacturing cost while keeping a thermal insulating characteristic without generating any damage at an outer circumferential plate even if a poor foaming is generated at foam generating thermal insulating material by a method wherein a die and a door inner plate are abutted to each other and the foam thermal insulating material is foamed between them. CONSTITUTION:A die M having the same shape as that of an inner side (a concave part 7) of an outer circumferential plate 2 and a door inner plate 3 are abutted to each other, a foam thermal insulating material (a foamed urethane) 4 is filled, thereafter the foam material is foamed and then the die M is removed. A door packing 5 is installed around the outer circumferential plate 2, the concave part 7 of the outer circumferential plate 2 and a projection 8 of the foam thermal insulating material 4 are engaged to each other. The door inner plate 3 is fixed to the outer circumferential plate 2 with small screws 9 so as to hold the door packing 5 between them and then a main body 1 of the thermal insulating door is completed. In this way, the die M and the door inner plate 3 are abutted to each other, foam thermal insulating material 4 is formed between them with a result that no damage may occur at the outer circumferential plate 2 even if poor foaming of the foam thermal insulating material 4 is generated. Accordingly, this is effective in view of its manufacturing cost while keeping a thermal insulating characteristic.
