Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform the culture of a plant with small amounts of fertilizer and water and to keep the plant constantly under optimum growth condition by controlling an atomizing part and an air-feeding part according to the signal transmitted from a dropwise condensation sensor placed near a root-holding part, thereby keeping sufficiently high water-content near the root. CONSTITUTION:Water mixed with a fertilizer and stored in a water tank 8 is atomized by ultrasonic vibration in an atomizing part 11. Air having slightly higher pressure than outer atmosphere is supplied from the outer air to the atomizing part 11 through an oxygen-enriching membrane 16 by an air-feeding part. The rootholding part 24 holds the root of a plant 26 in such a manner as to position the root in the mist ejected from the atomizing part 11. A region near the root holding part 24 is connected to the inside of the air-feeding part through a circulation path 21. The atomizing part 11 and the air-feeding part are controlled by a controller according to the signal transmitted from a dropwise condensation sensor 30 placed near the root-holding part to keep the surrounding of the root to a sufficiently high water content. All of the above parts excluding the controller are sealed in one system. A plant can be constantly grown under the optimum growth condition by this apparatus.

[Prior art and problems to be solved by the invention] Conventional plant growing devices of this type are based on the hydroponic method, but it is extremely difficult to create a sealed system, and as a result, bacteria can invade. , it was difficult to prevent root rot. In order to prevent this, water mixed with fertilizer was intermittently flowed around the roots at high speed, but this still did not completely prevent root rot, and a large amount of fertilizer and water were used. The problem was that it required . Furthermore, since the amount of oxygen that dissolves in water is small, it is impossible to actively supply sufficient oxygen to the roots, and root rot cannot be effectively prevented.

[Means and effects for solving the problems] A plant growing device according to the present invention comprises a water tank for storing water mixed with fertilizer, an atomization section that atomizes the water in the tank by ultrasonic vibration, and an oxygen enrichment membrane. an air supply section that supplies air slightly higher than the external pressure from the outside air to the atomization section through the atomization section; a root holding section that holds the roots of the plant so that the roots are located in the mist ejected from the atomization section;
A return flow path connecting the vicinity of the root holding part and the inside of the air supply part, a dew condensation sensor provided in the vicinity of the root holding part, and a signal from the dew condensation sensor control the atomization part and the air supply part. By having a control unit that maintains a sufficient amount of moisture in the vicinity, and by making all of the above parts other than the control unit into one sealed system, the intrusion of various germs is completely prevented, so water contaminated with fertilizer can be removed. There is no need to run the mist at high speed, the roots are in the air, allowing them to breathe freely, and the mist supplied to the roots is rich in oxygen.

Since the plant growing apparatus according to the present invention is configured as described above, first, the water containing fertilizer in the water tank 8 is atomized by the ultrasonic vibrator 9, and oxygen-enriched air is sent there from the air supply section. It's coming. Then, a mist rich in oxygen and containing fertilizer and water is ejected from the vertical duct 1) and constantly hits the roots of the plants 23, supplying them with nutrients and oxygen. A part of the mist is absorbed by the roots and plants are grown, but the mist that is not absorbed and contains oxygen and nutrients, that is, fertilizer, is returned to the third chamber 4 via the fog filter 20 and the communication passage 2L. . Further, the driving of the ultrasonic vibrator 9 and the blower 18 is controlled by the dew condensation sensor 30 and the control section, so that a sufficient amount of moisture near the roots is always maintained. Also, temperature sensor 3
2 and the control unit control the amount of heat generated by the heater 3l,
The temperature near the roots is maintained or changed at an appropriate value.

In this way, the plants 23 are grown under proper conditions, but in this embodiment, all parts other than the control section are in one sealed system, so that invasion of various germs is completely prevented. Furthermore, since the air pressure inside the sealed system is higher than the outside air pressure, invasion of various germs can be effectively prevented. Furthermore, the ultraviolet lamp 33 effectively performs sterilization. Furthermore, since there is no need to run water at high speeds as in hydroponic methods, only a small amount of fertilizer and water is required. Furthermore, the roots of the plants 23 are constantly exposed to air, allowing them to breathe freely, and since oxygen-enriched air is actively supplied, root rot can be prevented. In addition, since the fog trap 20 can reduce moisture in the air supply section, professional. Increases the durability of Al8 etc.
