Connectors used to connect wires with a single core wire (hereinafter referred to as core wire) include soldering type connectors in which the core wire is soldered to the contacts, wrapping type connectors in which the core wires are wrapped around the contacts, and connectors in which the core wires are wrapped around the contacts. There are pressure-connecting type connectors that are pressure-connected to each other.

Compared to other types of connectors, pressure welding type connectors do not require exposing the core wire before wiring, and can simultaneously perform the work of connecting the core wire to the contact and tightening the wire to the contact. Because of these advantages, it is widely used for connecting wires in various electronic devices.

However, in pressure welding type connectors, the surface of the core wire is scratched in order to press the contact to the core wire, and if force is applied to the core wire from the outside, contact failure may occur at the pressure welding part or the core wire may break at the pressure welding part. Failures are likely to occur. Therefore, it is desired to realize a pressure welding contact having a wire connection structure that does not affect the pressure welded portion of the core wire even if an external force is applied to the wire.

is attached to the insulator 9 of the connector as shown in FIG. The insulator 9 is provided with a claw 10 facing each pressure contact, and each pressure contact is locked by the claw 10. Further, in a connector using the pressure contact 1, since the pressure contact 1 is not provided with the fastening claw 6, a member (not shown) for fastening the wires 7 together may be added.

The pressure contact shown in Figure 2a requires a separate member to tighten the wire, and even if a member is provided to tighten the wire, external force is applied to the pressure welded part of the core wire when tightening the wire. Also, depending on the structure of the member that fastens the wire, external force is applied to the pressure-welded portion of the core wire even after the wire is fastened. The pressure contact shown in Fig. 2b does not require a separate member to fasten the wire, and is superior to the pressure contact shown in Fig. 2a, but when an external force is applied to the wire, the wire axially moves. It moves or rotates about the clamping claw as a fulcrum, and an external force is applied to the press-contact portion of the core wire. Furthermore, the two pairs of pressure welding pieces that are in pressure contact with the coaxial wire are made of unreinforced thin plates, and when the core wire is press-fitted between the pressure welding pieces, the pressure welding pieces may open from side to side. This causes failures such as poor contact at the press-welded portion or breakage of the core wire at the press-welded portion.

Two pairs of pressure welding pieces are integrally arranged in series with one side of the pressure welding pieces facing each other, one pair of fastening claws are made of tongue-like parts that stand upright from both sides of the base, and one pair of The pressure contact pieces protrude perpendicularly on the same plane from one side end of the clamping claws, and consist of L-shaped extensions whose tips face each other, and the surfaces of the wires inserted between the clamping claws are curved inwardly. The present invention is solved by a pressure contact in which the core wire of the wire whose sheath is broken is pressed and pressed between the tips of the pressure contact pieces.

The wire is fastened at two places by two pairs of clamping claws, and the core wire is pressure-welded at two places by two pairs of pressure-welding pieces between them, so the external force on the wire does not reach the pressure-welding piece, and the pressure-welding piece and the core wire are There is no possibility of poor contact or breakage of the core wire, and since the pair of clamping claws and the pair of pressure contact pieces form a pair, and the tip of the clamping claw is curved inward so as to press the wire surface. , Forces that point inward to each other also act between the pressure-welding pieces that are integrated with the clamping claws, preventing them from opening outward, and even when external force is applied to the wire, the resistance to movement and rotation of the wire increases. .

That is, use a special tool to hold the clamping claws so that they do not fall outward, tighten the wire to the pressure contact, and push the wire along the slit provided in the center of the pressure contact piece to pressure the pressure contact piece to the core wire. By doing so, the pressure contact piece consisting of the L-shaped extension projecting perpendicularly on the same plane from the side surface of the fastening claw will not open outward even when the core wire is press-fitted.

Therefore, it is possible to provide a pressure contact that has a connection structure that does not cause failures such as poor contact at the pressure contact portion or breakage of the core wire at the pressure contact portion even when an external force is applied to the wire.
