ンクキヤツプに関するものである。

従来のタンクキヤツプは第5図に示す如く、カ
バー1の内面に設けられたインナー2の中央に円
筒状の弁室3を設けると共にその上下部にブリー
ザー通路4,5を形成し、該弁室の下部に圧縮コ
イルバネ6を設け、その上に垂直時においては該
コイルバネを圧縮状態に保つ重さのスチールボー
ル7を下部のブリーザー通路5の上方に設けると
共にその上部に小ボール8を設け、タンクの転倒
時に圧縮コイルバネ6の圧力によりスチールボー
ル7を押し上げ、その上の小ボール8にて上部の
ブリーザー通路4を塞いでガソリンの流出を防止
するものが一般的なものであつた。しかし、この
従来のスチールボールを利用したタンクキヤツプ
用のバルブにおいては、自動二輪車の急加速時や
急減速時においても、車体は垂直状態であり、ブ
リーザー通路が開放状態であるため、タンク内の
ガソリンが慣性により波打ち、弁室内のスチール
ボールを押し上げることなくブリーザー通路を通
じて漏れることがあつた。

態に保つ重さの板状の重り9を上下摺動可能に設
けると共に、この上に筒状のフロート10を上記
と同じく上下摺動可能に設けたことを特徴とする
もので、弁室3内にガソリンが入り込んだ際に浮
力が働いてフロート10が上昇し、上部のブリー
ザー通路4を閉じるようにしたものである。
